Palazzo La Scala

The staff were absolutely wonderful we had a slight mishap on arrival and they were so accommodating and helpful.

Palazzo La Scala was an excellent choice for our stay in Venice. The location is outstanding, within walking distance of major attractions while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. The hotel was very clean, cozy, and well maintained. What truly made our stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. On our final day, they even showed us a shortcut to the water bus stop. We had previously relied on Google Maps and ended up taking much longer routes, so discovering the shortcut felt like a wonderful local tip that saved us a great deal of time. Although the hotel does not offer breakfast, this was not an issue at all. There are plenty of cafés, bakeries, and restaurants nearby, making it easy to find great food every morning. Venice is generally an expensive city, but if you're willing to walk a little, there are reasonably priced supermarkets nearby. We found a good option near the Rialto Bridge.

The building is historic and full of character, but sound insulation is not perfect. Occasionally, noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway could be heard. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.
