We arrived at the hotel after driving through a very intense thunderstorm. The young lady at the hotel reception gave us a very warm and friendly greeting. It was one of the most welcoming greetings that we have received at a hotel.
The room was nicely designed, quiet and well appointed with amenities. Due to the continuing storm, we selected room service instead of going to the restaurant. The man who delivered the food and wine was very pleasant despite negotiating many steps and holding his umbrella. It’s amazing that he could do so while also holding a tray !!
All staff at breakfast the next morning were extremely polite, friendly and helpful.
My compliment to ask staff at the Nakamanda Resort.

Pool, restaurant, breakfast dining and bar by the water was exceptional. We enjoyed the selections of food and drinks.
The accomodation was 5 star and luxurious.
Any request for extra pillows, milk, beach towels for excursion was met with politeness and professionalism. No extra costs. Nothing was a bother for any staff member.
Favourite Accomodation in Thailand after 2weeks of touring.
Easy access for local tours ie (visit Karabi Elephant Shelter via Get Your Guide app)
(And recommend staying and day visit tour the islands. We stayed Phi Phi Dom for two days of snorkelling but were terribly disappointed with the accomodation offering and the hospitality was woeful!)

The reception, garden villas, fitness centre are located on the elevated location of the property, whilst the pool, dining, bar and waterfront is accessed by gradual easy incline down approx 50 metres.
We ducked up and down with middle aged knees a number of times a day. No issues unless a guest might be incapacitated.
