Timhotel Paris du Gare du Nord

Very basic but clean with comfortable beds and good location for catching the Eurostar

Couldn’t get the AC to work so opened the windows and very noisy

Very small hotel but with a bit of charachter, room and bathroom clean and tidy, great location with all transport available at the doorstep, helpful and friendly staff. Family room has a second bedroom of a good size as well. Breakfast is only a small selection but all standard choices available incl. some hot breakfast. Lots of restaurants in the area open till late.

One of the French windows was partially broken and did not close properly, considering family room is on the mezonine floor it is not very safe for kids. TV did not have English channels.

It was clean and comfortable. Very near to the railway station and the reception was welcoming.

Lift was too small and there were 2 steps to where we had to lift our luggage to put it in the lift.

Location and some comfort in room. At least our room no 555 was a decent size. Although bathroom is pretty small.

This hotel is only recommended if you are coming by train and taking train to your next destination. It is right in front of Gare de Nord. Very easy approach. Please note the lift in hotel is terrible. So small like a pigeon hole. Two strangers cannot go in one time as the bodies are pressed to each other !!! Not at all suitable for people with claustrophobia. If you must take this hotel then ask for a room at ground floor.
