Excellent stay, comfortable, clean and friendly polite staff

Sargassum smell was bad

I lost my phone in a taxi when I arrived and Mary at the front desk helped me so much and I was able to get my phone back! The staff is helpful and courteous.

Everything the staff was amazing although there was very little hot water

It was fine except for all the steps with luggage but again staff was lovely

The location (Starbucks on the corner, restaurants, etc), the staff.

The room has a moldy smell. The bathroom was very small (there were a place to set the soap bar). I had to take a cold shower twice because there was no hot water (it was the night before our checkout and that morning, so I don’t know if there was a problem only in my room). Unfortunately, as it was close to the beach, Sargasso smell was when stepping out of the room. A little bit noisy at night. For all visitors in playa del Carmen: negotiate every thing you buy in the city, or choose other areas out of the Main Street (prices in general (foods, medicine, souvenirs, etc) are more expensive than California. We pay almost 300usd for a simple dinner, 7usd for a magnet, etc, medicine more expensive than Holbox)
