I only stayed here for one night on my way back to Cancun, but I wish I could have stayed longer! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel was beautiful, the room was spacious, comfortable, and well-decorated, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax. The location is extremely convenient: an easy walk from the ferry and bus terminals, and steps away from a multitude of shops and restaurants, as well as a small section of public beach which is perfect for watching the sunrise.
My only notes are that the stairs are rather steep (and as seems typical for Mexican hotels, there is no elevator), and that the balcony railing for my room felt a bit wobbly and unstable.
Still, it was a wonderful experience overall and I will definitely be coming back on my next visit to Playacar!

Wonderful staff, clean room, great location. The only thing we didn't love was being on the main floor, next to the pool, but once we asked to move to a balcony room, we were very happy. It's not fancy, but it's comfortable and for the price, it's a great, central location close to the beach (though at high tide, you had to walk around to get to a larger beach whie we were there),
