Great spot for a stopover when heading south/north.

Restaurant was lovely, dinner was delicious. Breakfast was pre ordered the evening before which wasn’t too difficult the idea is to help reduce waste. Didn’t have many staff on and so took a while to be served and we had to ask for water due to no help yourself option.

Bottles of water on the tables or a help yourself table at breakfast.

The look of the chateau and immediate gardens.

Disappointing room, very small, dated and tired. Hard bed with uncomfortable bottom sheet (sheet with rubber backing that creased). Bad drainage in on-suite ( bath and basin).

Elegant and friendly with delicious cuisine.

Estelle & staff are absolutely wonderful. So helpful & friendly. Breakfast & dinner were amazing. The chef prepares delicious food. Grounds are beautiful to stroll around the fountain. Comfortable room.

Enjoyable overnight stop

Very pretty chateau and grounds, only an overnight stay so didn’t have much chance to explore the surroundings or spa facilities…

A very good rack rate when booked but the price of a (fairly good ) bistro meal and drinks / bar drinks added up to almost double the room prices.. Although noted as dog friendly - I didn’t expect to be sharing my evening meal with someone’s pooch actually in the main dining room!

A lovely stay at Chateau de Beaulieu

The hotel staff really made our stay memorable. We arrived after a long day of biking during a heatwave. The staff did everything they could to be helpful - from taking care of our bikes, making sure we could have lunch after arriving just before the end of the service, to letting us check in early.

Excellent continental breakfast, plentiful and nicely presented. Great evening meal on the terrace with great wine selection.

A room overlooking the rear gardens or terrace would be better. Rooms at the front overlook a busy road.

Dinner was ok but overpriced compared to local restaurants, and the room was cramped

Large carpark, air conditioning.

Small room, small bed, bathroom door that didn’t fit and needed force to close. Charging my wife €7 for a single coffee for breakfast, when I am paying for a full breakfast. Every other place we have stayed allow her a coffee or two when I have the full breakfast.

Pleasant hotel however rooms not as shown!!!!

Owner was very friendly. Spa was small but nice. Dining was excellent. Quiet. Charming reception and dining rooms.

Room not at all as advertised! In photos rooms appear large and well appointed however ours was rather sad and small room with furniture full of bumps and scrapped paint. The bathroom was cheaply appointed like a budget hotel and with budget shampoo and soap.. The carpet was like a cheap casino. We love class but the quality just wasn’t there across the board. Even the bedding was rough. Gardens could also use some improvements as appeared little maintenance and upkeep over the years- shame as could really be an asset! Also despite staff giving us a hard time about spa rules, other guests did as they pleased: we observed that no one took showers before entering (unlike us).

Beautiful chateau. We stayed in the Pavilion, which was great with our dog, as it had direct outside access. The spa was very relaxing and dinner was spectacular. We loved that our dog was welcome with us at dinner and breakfast.

Despite the shortcomings we enjoyed our stay, especially the visit Tours and use the spa.

The hotel could become much better if the rooms were renovation/redecorated. The room was large enough but poorly decorated except for the new bathroom. The room was not worth the cost.

since we hadn't reserved dinner before our visit, there was no room in the restaurant for us which meant that we had to go into town. They sent us a note to see if we wanted to reserve, but since we were travelling we didn't receive it
