We did a tour of the south of Ireland and all the places we stayed were lovely, but Harvey’s point is next level and absolutely stunning. The rooms, the staff, the facilities, the breakfast and restaurant are all truly beautiful. The calming atmosphere of Harvey’s point was also amazing

Beautiful hotel, with incredibly food.

We thought the food was excellent throughout. Both the meal we had in the evening and the breakfast the next morning were impressive. We also felt that the room was just lovely, so well appointed and luxurious that we felt spoiled just walking in. The bath was also amazing, and despite its size filled in no time. The waitress in the evening - Kharma, was very attentive, and she was both friendly, helpful and efficient. She made up for some of what I describe elsewhere.

We had asked for an earlier check in - just by an hour - so we could take full advantage of the room. Although we appreciated it would not always be possible, there was an opportunity missed by the check in staff, who instead directed us to the bar to wait. It was incredibly loud in there, and we were left wondering why we had not been directed to the lounge instead which was both quieter and more picturesque. Indeed, I felt incredibly sorry for the bar staff where I waited around 10 minutes to be served - none of them could make eye contact (clearly concerned that would give me a "next" status), and they were evidently stressed. This was definitely not the kind of welcome we had hoped for. In general the service, while good, was not amazing (which is what I would expect from somewhere like this).

A hidden gem in the hills of Donegal.

Our room was absolutely incredible. The attention to detail does not go unnoticed. All the staff we encountered were polite and accommodating. Gorgeous setting and a perfect place to lay your head while exploring all that Donegal and the surrounding area has to offer :)

At first we thought the price was a bit steep as we were staying for a wedding but this place is worth every penny. We are looking forward to returning and getting a chance to enjoy the hotel and its surrounding area without a wedding to attend.

A perfect place for a quiet retreat, or a luxurious home base for exploring

The rooms are exceptionally large and equipped with numerous conveniences. The staff are universally friendly, charming, and accommodating. The view is phenomenal, and the good noise proofing in the rooms combined with the quiet atmosphere of the lake makes for a serene stay.

There didn't appear to be any in-room cooling, and while the temperature at Lough Eske seldom gets unbearably hot, I sleep best in a very cool room and it would have been nice to have the option to drop the temperature by a couple degrees.

Besides the lack of air con , it was a fantastic hotel with exceptional staff and food and we had a wonderful time seein

The staff were exceptional, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. And compliments to the chefs and all catering staff as the food was the best we’ve ever had anywhere.

The only one criticism would be the lack or air conditioning in our lakeside view room . In a beautiful large room there were only two tiny windows with even smaller openings for ventilation which made the room very hot and stuffy . Even though there was a fan provided , it’s noisy and only effective in one area .

The hotel is very comfortable and, above all, the staff is particularly attentive and responsive. We met somme little difficulties and they took care of them with special attention. Dishes at the bar were also excellent.

We had a wonderful stay - the room far exceeded our expectations, it was so spacious & comfortable. We loved the breakfast, my husband ranking it the top hotel breakfast he's had! Beautiful location, breakfast is served overlooking the lake. The bar is lovely & the terrace area is also beautiful. Lovely walks around the area. We attended a wedding & were spoiled for choice with the food over the weekend. We would love to come back!

We loved the hotel, the grounds and the staff were amazing. The deluxe suite was awesome.

There’s never really a need for air-conditioning in Ireland, but this weekend it was the hottest of the year. We did get a fan in our room which helped.

This place is stunning! Gorgeous hotel, the room felt like a palace. Bonus: Breakfast included. Fabulous stay!!!!!

Well, I needed a room for 3 adults: myself and two adult children. There were apparently no rooms available to accommodate our trio so I had to book two rooms. The double room could have EASILY accommodated the 3 of us. I’m a little disappointed to have had to pay for 2 rooms when I only needed one.

Well appointed and maintained property. Very friendly staff and great breakfast.

The 3rd floor suites do not have A/C. Probably not an issue most of the year, but we were blessed with a lot of sunshine.
