Overall it was a lovely stay for us, and the host (Paola) was very accommodating and helpful!

The apartment is located very close to Vernazza station. It's about a 1 minute flat walk to get there, which is very convenient. The bedding is very clean with crisp sheets. The host (Paola) was lovely and accommodating. She helped us with our bags and even let us know that there were train strikes and delays in getting to Vernazza. Even though the apartment is located in the main street, the room is relatively quiet as the windows have good sound proofing. Wifi is excellent. Paola had left snacks for breakfast and we were even treated to complimentary focaccia (photo attached), which was amazing!!!

These aren't complaints, but just things to note/consider for other travellers: Be aware it is a 4th floor apartment so it may be difficult when travelling with big luggage or elderly people. The stairs are high and narrow and I under estimated how difficult it would be. Most apartments in le cinque terre are like this though. Don't leave open food out as the building does have ants (the rooms are clean though). The shower itself is small. This maybe something to consider if you have a bigger build. This apartment does not have air-conditioning - but fans are present in both bedrooms. While it was warm, we didn't have any issues.

La dolce vita a “La Luna”!

Lovely place to stay. Super clean and very comfortable. Wonderful hosts: very warm and friendly. Amazing space for up to 4 friends traveling or a family of 3 or 4. No frills with all basic amenities. Typical older European building with narrow stairs and no lift. Perfect small dining area, 2 comfortable clean queen beds, espresso maker ( google directions before use), WiFi, laundromat with mini library 3 minute walk away, clothes lines out windows, 2 minute or less walk to swimming area. Great place to stay for relaxing, people watching, reading and if you want to be middle of a busy village with an active post 10:00 pm cafe night life: The locals have a blast in the evenings after the tourists leave.

Amazing place to stay in the heart of Cinque Terra

Lovely clean accommodation in the heart of Vernazza which is by far the best village of the cinque Terra. Paola was so kind and helpful and carried our bags up the (40 odd) stairs.. plenty of basic supplies and so comfy and right in the heart of it all!

Stairs are narrow and steep, so if limited mobility might be an issue, however, Paola ensured we were looked after, but in Italy there are always stairs!!!

Cinque Terre "La Luna" Vernazza

The location is exceptional, right in town center. Extremely convenient to shoppes and restaurants. The host is very responsive and able to provide information when requested.

Wish there is a kitchen for light food preparation. The "kitchen" is more like a hotel style. No place to cook or heat up food. No microwave either. But, you're right there to eat. It's created by design....supporting each other on business. However, we noticed other units have kitchen with all the cooking amenities. Also, only 1 sink and 2 bathroom. So, can't really wash dishes here. Beware, it's all of Cinque Terre where guests have to walk up and down stairs due to the terrain. Otherwise, the towns wouldn't exist here on the cliffs. If you decide to bring huge luggages, start your cardio and weight lifting program early. You'll need to be in good shape to walk the steps to your unit or to get around anywhere in this region.

I would definitely stay again. The location was superb.

Super clean and tidy. Paola was extremely attentive and quick to respond. also very friendly and even insisted on giving me some focaccia from her nearby shop. bring some ear plugs and an eye mask and you’ll do great.

The apartment had two bedrooms and plenty of space for 3 of us. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom and Kitchen was small but was fine.

The unit is on the 4th floor with steep steps. This was not clear in the listing and caused problems for one family member with bad knees.

The perfect place to stay within the Cinque Terre'. Feels like home. Comfy so much to rest. Most of all, the staffs were so nice and helpful. Always quick response. Due to their convenient location and comfy, we chose to do little rest at home during afternoon instead of travelling the towns:)

La Luna is a well located apartment with bedrooms overlooking the street below. We had a great stay.

We loved the location of La Luna - easy walking distance to the station and restaurants. It was a well set out apartment, with both bedrooms having windows that looked out onto the street below. The lack of a full kitchen didn’t bother us as we ate out for our meals. However, there was a fridge, microwave, utensils and a small dining table.

Great property, exceptional hosts

Perfect location, short walk from train stop, right on main pedestrian street. Noisy but town shuts down at 10pm, then totally quiet. No air con but with sea breeze through flat you won’t need it. Two floor-standing fans too. Attention to detail: Plastic bags in wardrobe for your clothes, umbrellas, even plug adapters. Best of all: Hosts (Valentina and Paola) are super welcoming and even gave us a takeaway lunch from their foccaceria just a couple doors down.

Paola was a lovely host and greeted us warmly, even though we came in late. Started our first morning off with delicious focaccia at the bar down the street-delicious and kind! Cozy apartment in the heart of Vernazza! What more could you ask for???? A fantastic place!

A bit awkward to only have the sink in the bathroom when there were 4 of us trying to get ready/make coffee/etc., but it was completely "doable." This isn't a ground-floor apartment (are there any in the CT?), so keep that in mind when booking.

Wonderful place and host

La Luna is located in the middle of Main Street of Vernazza. The most beautiful city in Cinque Terre. Just 2 minutes from wonderful port. Easy access for people coming by trains. Place was extremely clean and cosy. Paola is excellent host and her hospitality is beyond expectations. Thank you for everything.

It was wonderful!!!

Amazing location right on the main street, across from a focaccia breakfast cafe and a gelateria. The paths to the next towns begin right next to the hotel. Picturesque views out the windows, good water pressure, champagne in the fridge, and newly renovated apartment.

Lots of steep stairs, but it’s fine. The wifi network only worked in the bathroom, but it may have been a state-wide problem. The water is excellent, but there is 1 sink in the apartment (bathroom).

The location was fabulous with great views of the street below and less than a minute walk from the train station. It was immaculately clean, it was airy and light and the beds were comfortable. A lot of care, attention and style has been given to this apartment. We really enjoyed our stay in la Luna and Vernazza.

Locație excelentă situată în cel mai frumos sat, Vernazza! Un apartament bine amenajat, întreținut și foarte curat cu tot ce trebuie, situat pe strada principală la câțiva pași de gară, restaurante, mare, ambarcațiuni... Paola o gazda primitoare, super drăguță și adorabilă, care ne-a oferit cu amabilitate focaccia deliciosă. Cu siguranta aș rămâne aici din nou.

Mi-a plăcut totul. Poate două nopți au fost prea puține.

Très belle expérience, nous recommandons !

L'emplacement idéal au milieu du village. L'accueil de l'hôte et les petites attentions (tout ce qu'il faut pour la salle de bain et pour le petit déjeuner + les focaccie offertes étaient excellentes !) Il y a une machine à café et une bouillore et un frigo avec freezer de bonne qualité qui permet de stocker des aliments frais. L'appartement est joliment décoré, propre, bien ventilé. Les chambres sont très confortables. Les chambres donnent sur la rue principale mais finalement le bruit reste très supportable.

Attention de bien noter que la "cuisine" est très petite et sans équipements pour cuisiner ( pas de plaques chauffantes ni micro-onde), donc idéale si l'on souhaite seulement l'utiliser pour le petit-déjeuner.

Excellent accueil de la propriétaire. Elle a été très amicale et nous a offert des focaccia de sa focacciera qui étaient délicieux.
