Staff were so welcoming! The room was toasty warm on a particularly cold weekend. The location was excellent. Shower was great.
Unfortunately because of the timing of our activities we didn't get to try the breakfast.

The accommodation was perfect for my needs. The host was charming and very helpful and the location was exceptionally convenient for buses, and a gentle walk into Courtenay Place and further up town.

We received a very pleasant room, with a new bathroom with excellent shower. Comfortable bed with television, everything needed in the room was provided. As with many other reviews, John is the highlight of the Richmond. Feels like you’re in an episode of Four in a Bed, he’s a welcoming gentleman who’s very clearly passionate about Wellington. He didn’t seem happy that we didn’t make it breakfast…but that’s because the bed was too comfortable!
Road noise from the street was a minor gripe, but as to be expected in an older establishment.
