The location was great. Coffee and tea facilities were good.

The room did not have a heater. The staff did not know either until we informed them and asked for portable heaters. Not ideal in winter.

I have stayed here many times so I know what to expect

A comfortable smoking facility. Usually I go outside and sit in my parked car to smoke. However in a southerly gale or storm the Alpha St entrance is almost impossible to use,Alpha St becomes a wind tunnel. If the bars are open , one can safely use the Cambridge Tce entrance. So perhaps an all hours smoking facility within the hotel or a 24 hr entrance that isn't on Alpha St. I'm 75 so find gales difficult however sitting in my car watching all persons walking along Cambridge Tce all ages had extreme difficulty crossing Alpha St. Some even turned back and found another route.

The staff were wonderful. Super helpful and let me store my luggage after I checked out which was really helpful. They were very friendly and well mannered. Top marks to the staff

The blinds in my room did not block out the pink neon lights shining outside even when fully closed. This meant I barely got any sleep. The shower drains were also fully clogged, so it made having a shower really difficult. The doors in the toilet are not wide enough to enter the stalls without having to squeeze through which feels quite icky because I don't really like to touch any walls in a public bathroom, but this made it impossible.
