    The place is decent and a good value for its price. The location is just across the harbour. A few-minute walk to cuba street. While I love the place, my initial experience was bad. I booked specifically for a twin room (2 single beds) and got a room with 1 queen bed. It's a fully booked night so no more twin room are available. Waited for 40mins and finally got a staff twin room. While the staff was super friendly and tried his very best to find the room that we wanted, we had to go back and forth to check the room, back to the counter for the keys, and back to the room again.

    The staff was nice and made sure to prepared a twin room for us. The room itself was really small but it was ok for a night. The place was nice and clean and the shared kitchen was really spacious. I would recommend it

    Arrived within the desk opening hours and were locked outside. No emails prior to tell us that the desk was closing early. Only option was to call the stated number but as most travelers have eSIMs with just data, we were unable to make calls. Thankfully a resident who saw us standing outside with our bags came to help and made the call for us. We were then greeted by a very unpleasant night duty staff member who made it feel like we were inconveniencing him! No smile, no apologies or explanation as to why the desk was closed three hours earlier than stated. The room itself was tiny. Poor ventilation as we could smell the previous occupants food for the three days we were there. The smell was so potent it stuck to our clothes. The door to the neighboring room slammed every time the occupant came and left which would shudder our entire room. That said, the front desk staff the next day was very pleasant and the location was decent. Price was somewhat reasonable for Wellington but would definitely pay more next time for an accommodation without the hassle.
