About this house rental
This property is located on the beautiful Frio River in Concan, Texas at Magers river Crossing. This part of the river is a hot spot for tubing, kayaking or just relaxing in the river. The houses are fully equipped with all your basic needs in the kitchen. We supply all of your bedding for the 16 people this house will sleep. We have wifi and satellite TV. It is a spacious house with a loft too. The back porch has beautiful views of the Frio River and Mountains to the west. In the evenings and mornings you can watch the wildlife around the property. There is 800' of private river access along with a pool for all of our guests to enjoy. This house is approximately 60 yards from the river. You are minutes away from Garner State Park, House Pasture, Joe Jimmy's where you can enjoy Live entertainment.

This is a great house right on the river, and close to the pool. Property was plenty big enough for 3 families, and had a good amount of kitchen supplies (utensils, cookware, etc) available.

The house was very clean and spacious (even more so than pictured). We loved hanging out on the patio and enjoying the view of the river. The firepit areas and the swimming pool were very close as well which was an added bonus.
Something that folks would need to know about staying here is that you need to bring your own bath towels. It is referenced within the amenities section of the listing, but I could see how that detail could be missed by some. Also, bed linens were provided but we had to make our own beds. Not a big deal (they were obviously clean), but thought it was worth mentioning because we had never stayed at a rental where we had to make our own beds before.
One area of opportunity is for the property manager to be a bit more proactive and clear with details regarding check-in instructions. We received the house address a few days before our reservation but did not receive instructions on how to get into the house. Typically, instructions are provided in advance of the check-in date. Minor panic considering we had started our 4 hour road trip to Concan and still weren't sure how we would get into the house. I had to call on our road trip there to inquire which is how we found out there is an actual check-in office where you get your parking passes and keys.
Overall, this was a great house, very clean, and great location. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!
