This Beautiful home has a large cold water swim spa next to a Glamorous Outdoor Kitchen and Pavilion to entertain your family and friends. Steps away from your private riverfront on our property with Picnic Tables in the river to enjoy.

Overall, we had a great trip. The property where the house was located was a great location. The actual house itself needs a lot of updating. The only two things this house has going for it is. it’s clean and the location is nice short walk to the river. Any issue we had with the property, they were very prompt in trying to fix. first issue was the back bedroom didn’t cool.. they came and tried to fix it & said it was fixed and said we had the settings wrong but the room stayed hot, which wasn’t that big of a deal cause we weren’t in the room very much. It took till 10 o’clock at night before the room was cool enough for us to actually fall asleep. The same room where the AC wasn’t working, the sink start to leak all over the bathroom floor. I Called and they fix that too. Very fast fix. The last issue was most of the outlets didn’t work in the same bedroom with the AC issue. I couldn’t dry my hair in the bathroom because the outlet didn’t work, then two more outlets in the bedroom didn’t work. More of an annoyance than a problem so I didn’t bother them with another issue. The last thing I find worth mentioning in this review is the two bedrooms that are obviously additions have extremely small showers and not enough room. We found to be very hard to bath our small kids in such a cramped space , we needed a bathtub, dealbreaker for us. We would not book this house again. Pictures of the property because it beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The bedroom layouts were perfect for 3 families. The outdoor area was our favorite spot. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed for large meals. Only small issue was we didn’t have enough coffee cups for our large group. The river spot is a short walk. Maybe 300 yards. The host is super friendly and we enjoyed meeting him. We will definitely stay here again!

What an amazing place to celebrate my mother's 50th birthday! We had plenty of space & really enjoyed the outdoor area where we spent most of our time. Donny was an awesome host! Communicated clearly leading up to our stay & made sure we had everything we needed once we arrived (including ice). Donny takes care of his property & his guest, and we will definitely seek him out in the future.

Great property with many options on where to stay. Ella’s was perfect for our family. Plenty of room and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The kitchen and living room were spacious. The outside area had plenty of room for cooking and hanging out. The path to the river was a short walk with a picnic table and our own access to the river. The owner, Don, was very hospitable and quick to respond when we had a question. We are looking forward to making this our yearly family vacation spot!

After going to Neal’s every Memorial Day and Labor Day for over 30 years, we wanted to branch out and see what else was out there for our family. This place was perfect! We were right on the water, so no morning rush to get your spot set up, which was great! Perfect house for littles and up. Easy to just walk back up for nap time. Had everything we needed to cook and we utilized the laundry facility while we were there. Owner and Manager of the property was outstanding as a host. Very good people. Please do not hesitate to book this property or any of the others on site if you are wanting to gather your large family together. We made memories on the frio!!

The house was big enough to accommodate our party of 8 comfortably. Plenty of beds for everyone to have their own spot. It was close to the river with the option to drive a couple of vehicles right down to the river edge. Lots of shade while sitting in the river too. There was a lack of some basic kitchen items and a lot of the pans need replacing. The air conditioning in each room worked great and was really nice for everyone to have the ability to set their own temperature for their room. The location was pretty private with not much traffic and close to shops for ice and souvenirs. I would recommend this property.

We looked for a house that could accommodate three separate families including our recent HS grads and Ella’s Guest Lodge was perfect! The extra accoms of being steps from the water made it even better! Donny is the best host and was there every time I texted him. The complimentary shuttle to either be dropped off or picked up was amazing. We’ve never brought our own tubes before this trip and decided with Donny’s shuttle service that tube rentals wasn’t necessary. Perfect!!!! The house, patio, privacy from other guests, and parking spaces was also top notch. The location is great too. Thank you so much Donny. We can’t wait to come back!!! We already miss your two dogs Sissy and Peanut!

Adult family time. Quiet & peaceful since off season. Best time ( in my opinion) to go. Some restaurants closed or limited menus in Concan at this time but we enjoyed no crowds. Place is awesome & just as described. Clean, comfortable & plenty of room. Owner & staff quick to answer any questions.

Although there was no floating the river this year, this spot on the river still had plenty of water to sit out and enjoy. We loved that it had river access, a swim spa and when able to float, they shuttle you and you float back to the property. My family has been going to the Frio for over 40 years. We’ve never stayed anywhere that offered so much!

The owner was very friendly and never hesitated to help us if we needed anything. The river was beautiful. It was close enough to walk down, or you can drive down if you have lots of floats and chairs to bring with you. There were plenty of tables down at the river to sit at. Great place to have family reunions. Lots of room inside and outside. Beds are comfy. Easy access to the river (great beautiful 2-minute walk) and wide open spaces to have a bonfire, dance under the stars, and bike around. Huge kitchen space! Owners are awesome and very accommodating. We hope to stay again one day.

Donny and Sid were so welcoming and helpful the whole time we were there. The private access to the river is a huge plus for us. Shuttle service and ice machines on the premises were also a plus for us. This was our 30th year coming to the Frio but our first time staying at this house. We will definitely be booking again for next year.

We needed time away from the stress of the world of today and Ella's Guest Lodge and The Frio River was just the right place. The lodge was beautiful and sparkling clean, the river was very relaxing and not crowded.. This trip was a gift to our daughters, there husbands and our grandchildren from my wife and I and everyone had a wonderful time. Thanks to Donny and Sid.
