Winter Rate September 16th – February 28th $550

All major holidays, spring break will be charged at peak rate.


Boondocks is conveniently located in the Mountain Valley Subdivision and is within walking distance to the House Pasture Restaurant and Texas Music venue. Frio Valley Ranch golf course is a short distance from the home. The 2-story home has 4 bedrooms + 4 baths and sleeps 24 in beds. The open floor plan for the kitchen/dining/living area opens up to the covered patio. The dining table seats 16 people so almost everyone can sit for one of those wonderful Frio vacation meals! The washer/dryer are located off the kitchen area. The 2nd refrigerator and picnic table/additional seating are located on the covered patio. There is a hammock under the shady trees so you can kick your feet up and enjoy a power nap out there. Upstairs there is a spacious loft located between the two bedrooms. A giant checker table, flat screen, and DVD player create an additional entertainment area inside the house. The doors in the loft area open up to a large covered balcony. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, closet, and bathroom. Boondocks sits on two lots with the native oaks creating some backyard shade. The full size outdoor volleyball, tetherball, and horseshoes are there for your use. Enjoy the cool waters of your spacious pool during those hot summer evenings! Of course your home wouldn’t be complete without a BBQ pit and fire pit!

To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guest the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 4 weeks prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available.

What to Bring.
LINENS: Bring linens and towels, pillows, blanket/bedspread are provided.
TOWELS: Bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels and pool towels.
CHAIRS: Bring folding or sack chairs to take to the river. The chairs at the rental should not be removed from the property.
PAPER GOODS: Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, plastic cups, plastic ware.
SOAP: Dishwashing, laundry and hygiene products
BBQ: There are BBQ cooking utensils, but remember to bring charcoal/lighter/matches.
Your kitchen is complete with dinnerware, silverware, glasses, basic cookware, coffee pot, microwave, pots & pans.

We provide:
