Hotel Margjeka

Perfect location to begin your hike to Theth. We took the ferry and bus which dropped you off on the main road - 10 minute walk to the hotel. Breakfast is included and begins at 7am. Don’t skip out on the breakfast it was great and got you ready for the day. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We ordered dinner and it was delicious. Room was comfortable and warm. The best balcony views!

This hotel is located close to the start of the Valbona to Theth hiking trail. The staff were friendly and helpful, they made a packed lunch for me to take on the hike for only 700 Lek and directed me on the right path for the hike. The restaurant had tasty and well priced food including the complimentary breakfast. The room was comfortable and spacious, I even had a nice view from my window. Would recommend and would stay again.

The sound proofing of the rooms was not great. All sounds from the hallway could be heard from inside the room. I was woken up at 5:30am by other guests in the hallway which wasn’t ideal.

the staff was polite and helpful. Food was good but a bit expensive. The location was convenient for the hike, would have been better if there was a taxi or something we could take to the start of the trail like other guesthouses were arranging

my room was on the top floor where the staff were so there was constant noise in the night

View was nice. Convenient location for hike. Bathroom was functional. Bed was comfy.

Fly net on window broken. Room has zero ventilation (not even a fan) and got very hot. Food was very overpriced, uninteresting, and came in small servings. Provided breakfast was a set selection of food, no choice.
