Second time in a great apartment

This is the second time we have stayed at Il Glicine. It hasn't changed at all in three years - which is to say it is still as good as ever. There's plenty of comfortable space, all the equipment you could need, beautiful light and views - and Italian life right beneath your windows (the bedrooms are at the back of the flat so you are not bothered by noise at night). I love watching the fruit and vegetable market which takes place every day in the square in front and, when you go out, you have numerous bars and restaurants within steps of the front door. If you want to self cater the range of food shopping available in the square is incredible - including a horse butcher if that's what you fancy. Gabrielle met us at the flat and left us with breakfast items and a bottle of wine but there are so many lovely eating places in Pistoia that will tempt you out.

Some people might find the stairs a bit much as this is a top floor flat - but the views are worth it is if you can manage.

Gabriella was really helpful in getting us a parking permit in the restricted parking area, she even met us out of town and guided us in to Pistoias historic centre where the apartment was. What a location, smack bang in the middle of everything but the top floor apartment meant it was relatively quiet. Great breakfast provided. Excellent market outside on the Saturday. Just perfect. We enjoyed not hearing many English speaking tourists, something Sienna made up for.

Bello appartamento accogliente in pieno centro storico

Appartamento antico in pieno centro storico, molto spazioso e curato. Accoglie bene una famiglia con bambini. Proprietaria molto gentile.

Da sapere che è posizionato al terzo piano con scalini ripidi e un po’ scomodi per chi ha problemi di mobilità. Sotto ci sono locali quindi da portare i tappi per orecchie.

Perfecto para descubrir La Toscana; Anfitriona increíble.

El apartamento tiene una ubicación ideal para descubrir el norte de La Toscana; Pistoia es un lugar fantástico si de verdad quieres conocer una ciudad con auténtico sabor italiano. Es la gran desconocida pero no tiene nada que envidiar al resto de ciudades más conocidas de la zona. Il Glicine está dotado absolutamente de todo y Gabriella es una anfitriona increíble que cuida todos los detalles y que te hará sentir como en casa.
