Lovely staff and unique place. Glad I stayed but wouldn’t go back

Quaint little cabin in the forest really. Just a place to really unwind, beach was nice and quiet with a nice restaurant .

Lizards walking up the path next to me. The cabin smelt very damp and fusty. Had to take all my clothes to the laundry after my stay there. They were all damp and smelt. Even bed sheets felt damp and clammy. Sorry to say !!!

A little taste of paradise!!!

The bungalows are a little taste of paradise. You are in the jungle but also on the beach! The views are stunning! The sounds at night are beautiful. It is family run. Olov, his wife & son and the ladies that work there are wonderfully beautiful souls. They are so helpful and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Food is great and the same price as you'd pay in any restaurant. The shop is about a 10 minute walk away so you literally have no foot traffic near the bungalows. Rooms are really clean and simple. Everything that you need for a chilled time. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

This isn't the bungalows fault but it was quite noticeable..... the rubbish washed up on the beach was quite bad. I am not sure who is responsible for cleaning it as it isn't a private beach.

Beach bungalows + kindest hosts

The bungalows are super cosy, right on the water. There is a lovely walkway to the bungalows and direct access to a private beach. But above all, it was the staff that we truly loved 😍 they made our stay super special with their kindness and support with everything. I caught a flu the 2 days we were there and the staff helped us get to a pharmacy, allowed us to check out late and rest in before our journey to Bangkok. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The food at the restaurant was also delicious 😍😍 there's a super market at a short walk!

Unbeatable location, right in the jungle, and with access to a private beach and pool. Very peaceful

The bungalows were quite basic as expected. The bathrooms were old and a bit dirty. There were cracks around the doors and windows, which isn’t ideal when there is a risk of mosquitoes. Limited food options nearby. Taxis to get there are expensive

Truely felt like you were living in a rainforest. The staff made the experience so memorable the loveliest ladies ever! The food was amazing every meal! Can’t fault my stay had the most amazing time and can’t thank the staff enough really amazing!

Great value for the money. Short walk to beach.

We liked the lush tropical setting set just above the river leading to the ocean. We ate breakfast and some dinners at the place. Food was very good. We liked the easy walk to the beach and the warm water was wonderful. It was also nice to be able to walk the length of the beach which had other resorts. 1 1/2 miles to the end for a total of 3 miles. There are several other choices for meals at the various resorts and restaurants on the beach. We rented two basic bungalows and one stone cottage. The basic bungalows are just that. They are very dark with only one smallish window, so no cross breeze. There is a an available to use. I highly recommend the stone cottage and get one with air conditioning as it gets quite hot. They also have small refrigerators which the basic units do not. There was little space to hang clothes in the basic bungalow and no room to sit inside. The small balcony outside was just enough for two people. Very good value for the money.

Amazing spot!

What a fabulous location! All the rooms are close to the sea with lovely outlooks. Private beach and easy access to the other beaches with restaurants etc. The sea could be a bit stingy, but a wonderful temperature and even had phosphorescence at night. Very cool! Tucked away in the jungle,, amonst nature, this place is truly special. Didn't try the food as there were lots of other options. But the cafe has a lovely view. Could fill up water, which minimizes use of plastic bottles. One of our huts was compact and the other spacious. The water pressure in the shower was variable, the fans effective. There were some big mosquitoes so come prepared and enjoy your time. I would definitely recommend and love to return!

Lovely bungalows in the jungle and by the beach

Poseidon is a beautiful haven tucked in the jungle near pristine beaches. We had a great stay there, falling asleep to the sound of distant waves and geckos. We appreciated how quiet and peaceful the place was when compared to more touristy areas of Khao Lak or Phuket. This accommodation is for nature lovers who don’t mind seeing geckos or a few insects minding their business right outside the bungalows. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They can arrange scooter rentals and taxi or bus rides.

What a find!! It's such a beautiful place off the beaten track with a jungle vibe. I had a basic cabin, which was small, charming, and lovely with a stunning sea view. A powerful fan was all it needed. No mosquitos!! The private beach is gorgeous. As I write, I'm sitting on fine white sand under the shade of a massive tree 10m away from the sea, and there's nobody else here! You can eat here or 10 mins along the public beach there's more restaurants with a more touristy vibe.

The chairs on the balcony of my basic cabin could have been more comfortable. But really, that's a minor thing.

We were booked with booking.com for 2 nights, the owner had told us that we would have to change bungalow on the 2nd day , which was reconfirmed by his receptionist on the 2nd day.We waited until 12.00 to change bungalow only to be told that they did not have a bungalow for us.they gave a bungalow to a couple of newcomers that just arrived and simply had no solution for us except a horrible bungalow right at the end that smelled of mould.We waited half a day for nothing and had to change all our Travel plans.Mistakes do occur but the receptionist should have told us at 8 in the morning when I reconfirm with him instead of wasting 4 hours of our time

great spot

The view from the bungalows is fantastic right above the rocks and beach. The short walk through their garden/forest to the beaches and access to lots of cafes also great. A fair way to town but easy to get a taxi or a hire scooter. The staff and owners are lovely and very helpful and the food is very good.

We stayed in the old bungalows which have the best views and are pretty cheap but are in real need of some renovation and fixing up. They are very basic and small and could do with a bit more cleaning. The beds were comfy and clean and the fan was enough cool for us. The booking.com page did not show the newer bungalows which looked a lot better and still a good price.

We rented one of the rooms with fan at this resort for a price of 540 baht for one night. The friendly receptionist assigned us a room with an exceptional view of the sea and beach, which allowed us to experience one of the most beautiful days in Thailand. The hotel's ambiance and its beach are unparalleled. It's tranquil and excellent for swimming and relaxation. There are also several restaurants around the hotel that you can make use of.

The staff is very welcoming, kind and helpful. It’s such a peaceful place to stay, listening to the constant sound of the waves and thunderstorms while we were there. We had one of the waterfront bungalows and couldn’t have asked for more!

location, views, and access to a beautiful beach were the best features.

the bungalow was in disrepair— the only shelf in the room was broken. the toilet room light would sometimes work, but not all the time. there were fighting mice in the ceiling at night. fan only room, but that was ok. the bed leaned down in one direction. the pool water was too murky to swim in. I booked this place based on the beach photos and the pool, but the pool was unusable.
