Studios Balic Lux

Das Studio sieht genauso wie auf den Bildern aus in echt sogar viel schöner. Das Zimmer ist perfekt für 2 Personen schön groß und das Bett auch von der größe her perfekt. Es gibt genügend Ausstattung. Wenn etwas fehlen sollte für den Strand, zum duschen egal was wird einem gerne geholfen. Das Personal ist wirklich so lieb vorallem die Eltern ganz liebe Menschen. Wir haben jeden Morgen ihren hausgemachten Rotwein und dazu Feigen bekommen was so aufmerksam war. Die Gespräche einzigartig auch wenn wir fast nichts verstanden haben haha. Alles in einem wirklich top Studio mit ganz lieben Menschen.

Der wirklich einzige Nachteil war die Reinigung/Hygiene des Zimmers. Ich verstehe, dass es kein Luxus Hotel ist und man nicht erwarten kann das jeden Tag geputzt wird. Dies war auch kein Problem. Wir hätten nur erwartet das man bei einer über 1 wöchigen Aufenthalt mindestens an Tag 3 oder 4 mal gründlich wieder das Zimmer reinigt. Mit 2 Mädels in 1 Zimmer über 1 Woche sah das Zimmer dementsprechend katastrophal aus. Überall Haare, das Bad katastrophal. Wir haben nach einer Reinigung nachgefragt und man hat uns empfohlen den Staubsauger zu nehmen und selbst drüberzugehen. Dies war für uns nicht akzeptabel und wir lassen selbstverständlich nicht die über 90 jährigen Eltern des Besitzers unsere Zimmer putzen. Wir haben selbst nach sauberen Handtüchern gefragt und unseren Müll selbst entsorgt. Aber das Zimmer selbst reinigen mit Staubsauer war einer zu viel für uns. Am nächsten Tag kam auch jemand um es zu putzen aber das Zimmer war genauso schmutzig nur die Handtücher wurden gewechselt.

We stayed here for 9 nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We arrived in Split earlier than expected and were kindly allowed to check in about an hour before the official check-in time, which we really appreciated. We were warmly welcomed by the Balic family, who showed us around the apartment, explained everything we needed to know, and made it clear that we could contact them anytime if we needed help or had any questions. They even lent us beach towels, which was a nice extra touch. On our first day, we had a small issue with the air conditioning. We simply sent a message, and Josip came by almost immediately. He knew exactly what the problem was, fixed it quickly, and we had no issues for the rest of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. Everything is within walking distance: Split Old Town, the harbour, bus connections, bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, and Bačvice Beach. We hardly needed any transportation during our stay because everything was so close. It really is a perfect base for exploring Split. The apartment had everything we needed for a couple’s trip. The kitchen is quite small, and there isn’t a frying pan, so it’s not ideal for preparing larger meals, but it was perfectly fine for making breakfast or simple food. There is also no outdoor seating area, but honestly, we didn’t miss having one. Josip also gave us great recommendations for local places and activities that were less touristy and more affordable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We always felt very safe in and around the apartment. Another bonus was that the apartment stayed pleasantly cool during the day because it is positioned so that the sun does not shine directly through the windows. Thank you, Josip and the Balic family, for your warm hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Split.
