We were on our way to join an OAT group trip but wanted to spend a few days in Split so looked for reasonable and convenient accommodations through VRBO. What we found was absolutely perfect!! We were in the old city, which by itself is incredibly charming, but then also within walking distance to the large and very fun outdoor market (including a very cool fish market), terrific restaurants, grocery stores, the ferry port, and the palace. Our little Spilt home felt just like that - HOME - and was very comfortable as well as clean and well equipped for our needs, Lots of fresh air, sunshine and a wonderful little sundeck where I could sit and do a little work or we could just enjoy our tea and coffee. We had excellent communication with our host and she was full of terrific recommendations for islands to visit, restaurants to enjoy, etc, I’m sure there are other places one can stay in Split but nothing that we would have enjoyed more!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

The apartment was a short walk from the bus station, train depot, and ferry port. The old town, shopping, and restaurants were equally accessible. Inside the apartment was clean and furnished with everything needed for a short stay, and the host was easy to contact with questions. Highly recommend!

This apartment was in such a great location! Just a few minutes walk to everything we wanted to see. Parking worried us, but we found a space in a pay lot very near by without any trouble. The apartment was very clean and easy to access.
