Francesca House

We had the most wonderful stay at Francesca House in Atrani! From the moment we arrived, Francesca was such a lovely and welcoming host, making us feel completely at home. The apartment itself was spacious, beautifully decorated and had the most gorgeous views of the surrounding cliffs. The location was absolutely perfect too, just a stone’s throw from the beach and right above a beautiful little square filled with amazing local restaurants, cafés and shops. We loved being able to step outside and experience the authentic atmosphere of Atrani, with so much delicious food and drink right on our doorstep. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend Francesca House to anyone visiting Atrani. We’d absolutely love to come back!

Francesca House was perfect! Small, quiet, spotlessly clean. The washing machine was also much appreciated. The little balcony had a beautiful view of the church dome and tower. Atrani is an absolute delight. Smaller luggage is best, due to the amount of winding staircases (learn from our mistake!)

The mattress was a little soft for us, but that is just personal preference. I'm sure other people will be fine with it.

Beautifully clean, good aircon, washing machine was a godsend!

Was a climb of about 70 steps to the apartment which booking.com did not mention when we booked!

The owner should have told us it was 84 steps to get to our apartment and then wanted a tip to help us with our cases . The bathroom door was broken and the shower drain was blocked. There were no basic facilities we had to shop for everything even loo paper which was ridiculous.

Very old and terrible sheets and pillows
