The flat or apartment we’ve stayed in was perfect. It’s fully equipped even have laundry facilities. I run out of clean clothes so I used their washing machine. The owner was exceptionally hospitable. They have as water in the fridge, fruits and snacks Simple touch but special.. and the view is to die for…

A Beautiful, Clean, and Cozy Apartment with a Breathtaking View ♥️

Nestled high above the Amalfi Coast at the top of Ravello, this apartment truly stole my heart. It’s clean, cozy, and feels like you’ve come to visit your Italian nonna. Mrs. Cristina welcomed us with warm hospitality and a lovely basket of delicious local fruit 🍇🍊—such a thoughtful touch that made us feel immediately at home. The terrace offers a spectacular view over the coast, with the towns of Minori and Maiori below and stunning mountains on the other side. I absolutely loved spending long, peaceful mornings with coffee and enjoying cool, refreshing evenings out there. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, with a large living room, a full kitchen (including a coffee machine!), a master bedroom, a smaller bedroom, a bathroom, and even a laundry room. Whether you’re staying for a few days or a longer trip, it truly feels like home. I recommend renting a car, as the apartment is located quite high up in the mountains and can be difficult to reach otherwise. However, the incredible views and cozy atmosphere more than make up for the effort. Parking is available on the property for €10 per day. I’ve traveled to many places and stayed in countless hotels and apartments, but this one feels truly special. I highly recommend it—and I’ll definitely be coming back! ♥️

Amazing view, terrible access and unresponsive host

The view is stunning. The apartment was clean and well organised. The village is very relaxing and quiet which was great after all the caos from the tourist parts of the Amalfi coast.

The access to the property is bad. The only way you have to get there is via the local bus (now we know that), scooter, taxi (40€) or by foot. The person responsible for providing instructions to access the property (Alessia) did not provide clear instructions to find the location and was not responsive, nor respond to our calls when we were trying to get to the house. Due to the lack of Alessia response, we had to reach to the house by foot - the house is on top of the villa, so you can only imagine how it was exhausting to get there with all the luggage climbing more than 100 stairs. If only the host had respond to our calls or provide instructions we would not have gone through this. Additionally, when you get to the number of the house it turns out it is the number of all the houses in that street, so we had to stalk someone for help and had to guess which house it was (??) - just don’t understand how the host thinks is acceptable not to provide clear instructions beforehand. When we got there the host just smiled and said she didn’t know where the phone was and ignored we were not happy. After, when we were finally settling in the house she came with a guy to fix something on the house - twice (this could have been done hours before we got there, specially because it was not urgent). On top of this she didn’t speak any English. On our last night by 9pm Alessia came unannounced to the house to ask for the tourist tax. This could have been avoided if things were clear from the start.

Great views, fantastic service and a nice location!

We really enjoyed staying at La Luna di Cristina during three nights in mid April. The charming grand mother (Cristina) of the host welcomed us upon arrival to hand over the keys and provided some instructions in Italian. Despite the language barrier we understood all of it. We really appreciated the welcome fruit bowl, with various breakfast things such as jam and Nutella. The heating worked great and despite the rain we loved the place! The father of the host runs a grocery store and could deliver what we needed one evening when the weather was less ideal, fantastic service! We could park our car behind the gates of the facility and instead walk down to Ravello which is a nice 20 minute walk down to Ravello, (and 30 minute more demanding walk to get back.) The view towards Minori and Maiori is spectacular. The host Alessia is very nice, communicative and mindful of providing a good stay.

Wonderful, peaceful and will stay my number one spot to go to.

This is a wonderful place to stay, words couldn’t express how great it is. The apartment was spotlessly clean, every little detail was perfect. There was fruit, breakfast snacks, coffee, tea, sugar and water in the fridge. There’s a washing machine, iron, hairdryer as well. The best thing is the view, it’s breathtaking. We didn’t have a car but we managed to get there with the local buses. You can walk down to Ravello which is beautiful by the way, there’s steps near by and they take you down to there. The coming back up is a bit harder but we are in our 60’s and managed them. I would highly recommend this stay. The hosts are so helpful and kind, very friendly. An excellent stay, if you want to get away and stay in a beautiful peaceful place this is definitely it.

Amazing views, great housing, and kind hosts.

Our stay at Cristinas apartment was wonderful, upon arriving she gave us advice and recommendations and helped us settle in. The apartment was very clean, cozy and homey it also had air conditioning in both rooms which was very nice during such a hot season. She also left fruit, water, spreads and bread for us in the kitchen when we arrived. Her granddaughter Alessia helped us with all our requests such as leaving more towels when needed, laundry detergent and kept our suitcases safe when we had to checkout in the morning for the day. The hosts are very friendly and very communicative. And of course last but not least the views from our private terrace were outstanding as we can look out on to Minori and Ravello while being surrounded by a nice garden as there are sunflowers and plants surrounding the terrace and view is exactly as showed in picture below. The location is of course very high up but is wonderful as it is in a very peaceful area close to the centre by taking around 300 stairs although there is also a shuttle bus that can pick you up only 1 min walk away from the apartment that takes you to the centre every hour for 1 euro which is great if you don’t like walking very much. The value for money is absolutely amazing and I would definitely come here again.

A must-stay in Ravello

Everything about this property is amazing - the view, of course, is the highlight. The kitchen is well-stocked and super spacious. The bedroom is comfy, the bathroom is clean, and Cristina and her daughter were so helpful and kind to us. Unbeatable price, too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

As others have noted, there are hundreds of stairs to get to the center of Ravello, which can be very difficult if you have bad knees or aren’t so fit. Not too big of a deal, but something to seriously consider.

The house itself is huge for 2 people and well-equipped with cookware and washing machine. The view is fantastic whether it is daytime or nighttime. The host family is really nice, even got our washing off the line when it started raining while we were out.

Wonderful stay

Everything! It is a beautiful, comfortable apartment in a stunning location. Cristina and Alessia are very friendly and helpful. Alessia was always ready to answer questions and help us sort out getting around by bus. There were many small details to make us welcome including fresh fruit and cold drinks, tea and coffee. We arrived by bus, and Alessia arranged for someone with a car to meet us for the 5 minute journey up to the apartment which was so helpful because the little local minibus was not scheduled then and it is 250 steps up from the Amalfi bus stop which you don't want to be doing with suitcases! The rest of the time the walk up to the apartment from the centre of Ravello takes about 20 minutes, steadily uphill but not all steps and we managed that fine with a few stops to admire the view. We just loved it here.

The apartment is perfect. We were here in early March and we were unlucky with the weather part of the time - the fabulous views were covered in thick clouds and fog! But this is obviously not the fault of the owners and it was interesting to see village life when it is not like a tourist photograph! When we went down by bus to the coastline on foggy days you could see further. Fortunately we had some good weather too and loved sitting out on the terrace.

Would HIGHLY recommend - best views in all of Ravello - clean & comfortable.

GORGEOUS location; very high up in the mountains. Unbelievably stunning view from the very cute terrace - took my breath away. We loved having coffee & watching the sunset on the terrace. Alessia coordinated our stay; helped us get a ride to/from Napoli, answered questions about transportation & eateries, & got us extra towels. The accommodation was clean, organized, warm, & had kitchen essentials that allowed us to cook! The coffee maker was broken but Ms. Cristina (I think) came later that day to fix it, which was appreciated. They also had a lovely garden with fresh vegetables. Very calm & quiet town. Close to Villa Rufolo, which was so beautiful - absolutely a must-visit. I will always remember La Luna di Cristina & I would 100% come back to visit. All the positive aspects of my stay outweigh negative aspects described below.

Communication with Alessia prior to our stay was a bit difficult; she only responded ~1X a day, which was frustrating when trying to plan our trip. The day before our flight, she also seemed to recommend that we don't come, which we thought was very weird, but that might have just been the language barrier. We also weren't warned about how FAR the accommodation was - it was quite hard to get there. On the listing, it says free airport shuttle. When we asked about this, Rosella (the 1st person we communicated with) told us that we read wrong. We even sent a screenshot. It was a bit frustrating because the free airport shuttle was a factor that influenced our booking. We also weren't prepared for how difficult it was to get around town - many, MANY steep stairs - do not recommend for those with knee problems (unless you plan to take a taxi everywhere). Also be aware - if you come here during the winter, there aren't many eateries open & everything closes early. Probably much better in the summer.

Parking fee wasn't mentioned when we asked for parking so we weren't prepared for this as we were told the night before checking out. By this time we had run out of cash but the family provided a card machine luckily.

Goid location with a beautiful view

The apartment is on the hill and we can have the panorama view of the town. The garden made us refresh every morning with the beautiful flowers and we can use the vegetable from the garden to cook. We enjoy the beautiful view all around us. The paid parking is in front of the house, very convenience. We are happy that there is washing machine as this is good to clean the clothes after traveling for 2 weeks.
