The owner helped us to find a cheap car park nearby. Also we forgot a coat which he posted back on the same day to us.

Close to Ravello, view from the balcony. Easy access to apartment through instruction videos. A couple of good restaurants near by, reasonably priced.

No one on site, only WhatsApp messages in Italian and not very service minded. Only air conditioning in one bedroom. Parking permit has to be organised with the local police but they showed up as agreed. 20 euros for two days.

Charming apt with great view, excellent location with just a short walk to Ravello.

Great view from the balcony. The apt is close to a family restaurant where I ate everyday, excellent food & welcoming owners The village Scala is charming. I walked over to Ravello 2 days to see the Municipal garden and the Cimbrone garden. I enjoyed seeing lemon groves and a lemoncello factory. my 3 days in Scala was probably the most enjoyable part of my 3 week visit to Italy.

I washed clothes there, but it was so damp because of so much rain that my clothes never dried.

Cute and spacious, but lacking a few kitchen essentials.

The hosts provided an excellent set of videos that walked us through the process of finding the property from the main road and accessing the lockbox for the keys. Much appreciated. Further, the apartment had a clothes washer, which was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable and there was ample closet space. And the warm shower felt great after a rainy day roaming around Scala and Ravello.

While the kitchen stove and clothing washer were excellent, the kitchen did lack some basics. Specifically, there were no sharp knives for cutting vegetables or meat (only serrated bread knives) and the espresso maker was a single cup unit that made it hard for a couple or full family to make coffee in the morning. Further, the refrigerator was so cold the first night, that it froze all of our vegetables and ruined our lettuce and other greens.

It was very difficult opening the door of the apartment. The host came to help but we still struggled to open it every time we returned. This really affected our enjoyment of the property.

Very good Italian atmosphere on an acceptable price

The apartment was great,especially the view. The location was a bit far away from Amalfi, but that’s why evenings were calm and relaxing.

There’s no air conditioning in the little bedroom. Everything else was perfect.

amazing view, amalfi tiled pretty shiny apartment

Apartment was very spacious, large, very clean and comfortable. With kitchen amenities, laundry, large rooms and cabinets, it was very practical. Above all, with the balcony, its view and refreshing weather it was one of the best places we stayed in our south italy tour. Host was very kind and interested. we cooked a very good meal and have a perfect dinner at the balcony across to amazing Ravello and Amalfi Coast scene. We commend this place a lot.

not about the apartment but Scala is just a bit on highlands. We had a car rental so, it was possible for us to travel in the coast. Without any vehicles, it is hard to travel. With also car, you can easily get lost and there is an unexpected cost for parking (all around the coast). Host of our apartment informed us about parking and we arranged two-days parking in Scala. However, for a travel plan to Amalfi Coast, transportation should be planned carefully before. And a small tip for this perfect apartment, a sun umbrella (parasol) should be a perfect favour.

Difficult to get to after 11.30pm from Amalfi as no more buses run. Taxi costs about €60. Recommend pre arranging taxi service if planning to travel late at night.

Traumhafter Blick

Die FeWo hat eine traumhafte Aussicht auf Ravello. Sie ist sehr hell. Gleich in der Nähe befindet sich die Bushaltestelle, im Ort sind auch drei kleine Supermärkte. Gleich in der Nähe befindet sich das Restaurant "Pinguin", in dem wir sehr gut und preiswert gegessen haben. Nach Ravello kann man auch sehr gut zu Fuß in ca 30 Minuten kommen. Das Finden der Ferienwohnung war nicht schwer, denn wir haben von der Vermietung ein Video erhalten. Der Kontakt zur Vermietung war schnell und gut.

Wir waren im Oktober in Scala. Da die Ferienwohnung keine Heizung hat, haben wir doch etwas gefroren bei 18 Grad Raumtemperatur (mein Wecker hat ein integriertes Thermometer). Auch beim Schlafen, denn nur ein Laken und eine dünne Decke zu haben, war für uns etwas zu wenig. Mit der Dusche kamen wir nicht so gut klar, denn es war schwierig, die Wassertemperatur zu regulieren. Außerdem kamen nur sehr wenige Wasserstrahlen aus dem Duschkopf. Eine Kaffeemaschine gab es nicht, dafür einen Wasserkessel. Für den Gasherd müsste man sich ein Stabfeuerzeug besorgen. In dem Zimmer, in dem auf den Fotos ein Einzelbett zu sehen ist, befindet sich jetzt ein Doppelbett. Deshalb passt in dieses Zimmer kein Kleiderschrank. Es war auch etwas hellhörig.

Très bonnes logalisation dans un village typique

Le village est très calme et à proximité. La vue depuis la terrasse est top ! L’hôte nous a aidé concernant le parking et a demandé une carte de stationnement de plusieurs auprès de la police pour nous.

Le mitigeur de la douche semble cassé car l’eau change constamment de température. Le bruit des travaux dans l’appartement voisin (probablement temporaires) était très dérangeant.

Розміщення. Взагалі не рекомендую лишатися з ночівлею на Амалфійськомв побережжі. Там нічого не створено для туриста. Відсутність автобусів. Треба їхати на Равелло. Там пересадка. Якщо він в є - то дуже маленький. А на зупинці його чекає 50 людей. Всі втомлені та нервові. Постійно сварки за чергу. Таксисти наглі та хамовиті. Та взагалі там люди не доброзичливі. Таксі ти взяти не можеш, таксисти беруть тільки групами, та з кожної людини 20 є тільки до Равелло. А до Скали ще по 20 з людини. Також вони ще і не хочуть їхати. В нас розбите серце та зіпсовані нерви після поїздки сюди. Рекомендую жити на Капрі, вина Амалфі та Позітано припливами на паромі до прогулянки.
