The hosts were amazing and could not have been more accommodating, welcoming, friendly, helpful, great at communication and answering questions. We knew exactly what to do apon arrival, great directions on how to get there and how to contact them, we were later than expected on arrival and they were still friendly and met us, showed us where to park and helped us move our luggage up to the apartment with a special winch elevator the host had built which was so helpful and Maria gave us a tour or the apartment and explained where everything was and was so very friendly. The place was extremely clean and had everything needed even down to a bowl on snacks and treats and some ice tea and water in the fridge upon arrival. There was a laundry detergent capsule, dish soap and toiletries, it was so well equipted with cork screw, lighter extra trash bags etc..they recycle which was great to see. Maria the host even offered to make us coffee in the morning Italian style, so lovely. The view was amazing from the apartment and it was quiet and pleasant to just relax in or sit on the balcony and look at the mountains and the sea and Amalifi village below. Maria quickly responded to our texts providing us with bus time tables, and how to get back to the apt from town and she was always available to ask questions of and could have not been more helpful and pleasant. Amazing hosts and apartment!!!
The sofa was a bit uncomfortable to sit on for a period of time, but it was a sofa bed which gave extra sleeping space so it was helpful in that way.

Maria and her family were so amazing and helpful and such a warm people! The view from the apartament was insane and every detail in the house was so well thought through
There is around 1000 steps to go to the city which we didn’t mind but it can be very challenging for some people who want to go to Amalfi. There are buses but they are not very frequent

Beautiful location, up on the hill of pontone looking over Amalfi, just a quick scooter ride to other great towns such as Ravello, nice walks to the waterfalls and couple nice restaurants was perfect location.

I liked the view. It was nice to see all the houses down there and the sea.
It was a really long longgg way to come up here from Amalfi. If you have luggage, please just get a close hotel near Amalfi. If you take the bus to Pontone, you get off at bivio Pontone and have to walk 20min through the tunnels and then more inside the village area. Lots of stairs. My lock for the luggage disappeared after all the stairs haha. So I would only!! Recommend to those who love to see the scenery and who love to hike. Only accessible to backpacking people. And there’s only 2-3 restaurants nearby so, get all the food from Amalfi before you get here. It’s so hard to walk back to Amalfi. My legs were dying.
