Really lovely place

Very friendly welcome, informative host who was very kind and helpful. Immaculately clean- cleaners came daily and did a thorough job of bedroom and also bathroom. Great breakfast options allowing for independence, including access for self cooking if wanted- fresh eggs, bread, cheese, butter, yogurts, fruit juices and loved the consideration for different milks including soya. Location is great, next to station, bus stops and walking distance to all the city. Room was large and had everything I needed to be comfortable, hanging clothes, futon, desk. Lovely decor. Aircon available, although I didn't need it as temperature was very comfortable. Windows were great for blocking out all noise, it was so quiet! Private bathroom across from my room, I had my own key for it, very nice touch!

The double bed was made of two single mattresses pushed together, they were too firm for my liking. As I was a solo traveller I had the luxury of spreading across the beds, however, the groove between the centre of both beds dug in a bit.

A warm welcome, spotless rooms, and great amenities made our stay in Udine truly enjoyable.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Stop & Sleep Udine. From the moment we arrived, Dario —our host— welcomed us warmly and gave us a full tour of the house, instantly making us feel at home. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The shared kitchen is a huge plus: perfectly equipped, always clean, and with a generous breakfast to start the day right. The Bicycle Garage was an excellent added value for anyone traveling on two wheels. The location, just a short walk from the train station, was very convenient for exploring the city and its surroundings. Overall, a place with excellent value for money, warm hospitality, and well-kept spaces. Many thanks to Dario for making our stay so pleasant. We would definitely recommend it to any traveler looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a friendly atmosphere in Udine.

The area near the train station can feel a bit busy at night, but inside the property it’s quiet, safe, and very comfortable.

The location is opposite the station and was very loud at night - but this is unavoidable. Our air conditioning didn’t work properly but the staff did everything in their power to try remedy the problem.

Good accomodation for an overnight stay if you're travelling by train

The host was very welcoming upon arrival. The room itself was clean and provided everything necessary for our short overnight stay. It is easy to reach the accomodation if you are planning to travel by train as it's located right next to the train station.

The surrounding area isn't too nice and some people might feel unsafe at night.

A Perfect Blend of Comfort and Convenience

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The location was excellent, and the staff was incredibly helpful. I booked two rooms, and both were exceptionally clean, including the bathrooms with all the essentials. The AC worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay. In the morning, we enjoyed a complimentary and satisfying breakfast that met all our needs, with the bonus of nice coffee available as well. I highly recommend this place for a delightful stay.

Very nice staff we stayed in the Room Roma and we recieved complimentary breakfast. It was right across from the train station and 2 minutes way from the bus station and very close to the city center. The staff was very sweet and received us well and made sure we had everything

This is a very nice place. The staff is very accommodating and even allowed for an early check-in. The rooms are sparse but very clean and comfortable. There is a kitchen with a whole assortment of treats and drinks. A terrific value. I will be returning in the near future.

Good sized room and bathroom, comfortable bed and many nice details. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good self service breakfast. The location is good for public transport and to walk around the city. It is a busy street; the double windows do a good work, but don´t block the noise completely.

Inconsiderate US guests in the next door room who loudly made phone calls home and carried on their amorous fights into the early hours. It was otherwise quiet, despite thin walls, so it was just unlucky.

Very good location and value with very helpful staff. The room was also clean and spacious with functioning AC.

Nothing much to mention here. Maybe the street is a bit noisy until 11pm or so, because it's opposite the railway station and there are restaurants and a bus stop in front of the building, but nothing really problematic (and half of the rooms look the other, more quiet street anyways).

Perfect stay for a short stay! And not only for one night!

A very good and lovely equipped room with shower and toilet. The hostel is a very good choice if you want to stay near a parking place, the railway or bus station. However it's a stop and sleep place, I really think one can stay here for 1-3 nights to visit the city and surroundings. Very warm welcome, clean and modern, quiet room and central position.

Perfect location for a quick overnight stay, trains and all buses literally at the door. The (very good) setup of the rooms and bathroom are rather on hotel level of service than B&B. Full equipped kitchen. The host was very responsive, kind, and professional.

Minor things, Not really property's faults: - 4th floor without elevator (might be an issue if you have many baggage) - the bar at ground floor might get loud over night (i stayed on a Fri night)

Cozy, air-conditioned and clean accommodation, paid parking directly opposite the accommodation. We prepared breakfast ourselves from ingredients (eggs, cheese, pastries, yoghurts, desserts, ...) in a well-equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds.
