Clean and calm place it was a wonderful stay few minutes of walk from the sea around 5 min and close to the airport (10-13 min from airport by car) I appreciated my stay.
There is a close bus station to go to the crowded old town of Dubrovnik.

The apartment itself was lovely, the view was beautiful as we had a great view of the sea on the balcony which was also nice. The bed was comfortable and my partner and i slept well all the nights we were there for. The wardrobe in the apartment was spacious. The air-conditioner worked well so we were very cool in the apartment. The staff were very helpful as we lost our key to the apartment, the problem was solved very quick and swift by the staff and agency and didn't seem to make a fuss of it at all. There was a good number of plates, cups, glasses and bowls which is useful if you are staying in the apartment for more than a week or so.
Although the apartment was lovely, there was multiple things that we did think could be better or wasnt ideal in the apartment. The location of the apartment was up quite a steep hill, so if you are not renting a car and walking it will be tiring and sweaty in the heat. This isnt a problem with the apartment itself, but its definitely something my partner and i should have factored in. The bathroom in the apartment is very small, the sink is tiny so when doing something small like washing your face it makes a mess on the floor and on the toilet lid as they are right next to each-other. The shower is very small so don't expect to have a lot of leg room or movement room when showering. The kitchen wasn't the best as the utensils such as the pots and pans, knives and forks etc weren't the cleanest and weren't the best to cook with as the pans weren't non stick so if you are going to be frying things such as eggs then lots of residue sticks to the pan making it very hard to clean, on top of that you don't get given the best cleaning products, only one sponge and washing liquid. Something that my partner and i did notice is a strange pungent smell when arriving in the apartment the day we arrived + everyday we came back in from being out. We tried multiple things like shutting the toilet lid, closing the shower doors, covering the plug holes but nothing got rid of the smell, its something you just have to get used to. The bathroom mat is very small and also poor quality so we had to end up putting a small towel on the floor. Some of the towels we were given by housekeeping were extremely small, and we couldn't wrap round ourselves when getting out the shower. The door lock can sometimes be difficult to lock/ unlock.

The host was very rude and unfriendly. She didn't make us feel welcome at all. For a host she should learn some skills in hospitality as she is a very unpleasant and unprofessional person.
The host and the fact that anything we needed we didn't ask for as everything seemed like an inconvenience for her. So we just avoided asking for anything which didn't make our stay pleasurable.

One night in Cavtat.
We wanted a nice night outside Dubrovnik and Cavtat was highly recommended. Easy to drive to and free parking. Hotel was ok for one night only. Staff very nice letting us check in a bit early.
Rooms were very small and beds were very uncomfortable. This was not a good nights sleep. This was the end of two weeks road trips and many hotels - for this price we expected a bit more. The hotel is also directly under the flight path to the airport - this is not the fault of hotel but a negative of the whole town. Flights do not fly at night only in day. Very loud and disrupts relaxation.

The room was good value for money in the high season and had everything we needed. It was clean and comfy and the owner was super nice! Bathroom was spacious and bed comfy.
Everything was really nice, but good to keep in mind that our room had a rather small window, so it wasn’t very sunny (this may be an advantage for some!).

Clean and worth accommodation
Accommodation was really good, clean apartment with apartment service - this was something new for us in Croatia, usually apartment services are only in hotels, so we was positively surprised. Good quality A/C with sensors on windows - A/C automatically turns off if the window is openned.
The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but not a big deal. No other negativities found.

It was a spotlessly clean one bedroom studio apartment which may have been described as a sea view, which is was but from a distance. There was a 10min walk to the centre and a 10min walk uphill back to the apartment which wasn’t an issue for us, but maybe for others. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I though the taxi fare from the apartment to Dubrovnik airport was a little pricey given it is only a 10min drive away, so I would check prices with local taxi firms. I have been travelling across Croatia for many years so I am familiar with the cost of taxi fares and other transport costs. You cannot catch a local bus from Cavtat to the airport which is a shame.
