We stayed in a top floor apartment which was very spacious and had everything we needed to self cater for breakfast and the occasional simple evening meal. The main bedroom has a sofa and tv and is very private from the rest of the apartment. However the beams are quite low and there is a steep ladder type staircase to access it - which may not make it suitable for everyone

First of all, I want to say that this hotel is in a perfect location. Everything is very close — the ski lifts, the downtown, shops, and cafés. I really loved the view from the window of our studio. The bedding was amazing; the pillows were very comfortable, which was extremely important for me. Oh, and I absolutely loved their feather duvet. It was very quiet — we couldn’t hear the neighbors at all. I also liked that there was an option to do laundry: a washing machine and dryer are available downstairs. You do have to pay, but it’s not expensive.

The only small suggestion I would make is to add soft pads to the chair legs so they move more smoothly and don’t make noise. For example, if someone is staying downstairs, they might hear the sound of chairs being moved. This is the only thing I would recommend.

Peaceful stay with amazing views and easy access to everything!!

The apartment was clean and very spacious for two people, and having a full kitchen with all the amenities was a huge bonus The view of the Matterhorn from our apartment balcony was breathtaking! The location is very good, within walking distance of the train station. It’s close to everything while still feeling peaceful. There was a dedicated area for storage (ski equipment, luggage, etc.); however, we didn’t use the facilities Check-in was completely painless. For those arriving outside normal check-in times, they provide instructions and keys by the door. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others

Wonderful apartment in a great location with a breathtaking view.

The location was walk-able to everything while being on the periphery so that it was quiet. The view from our apartment balcony of the Matterhorn was breath taking. The rooms were lovely and the apartment provided all of the amenities. They had storage downstairs when you arrived for bags or ski equipment so you didn't need to haul anything up to your rooms. We arrived outside of normal check-in times but they had instructions and keys by the door when we arrived making check-in completely painless.

Even with all of the radiators turn off, the apartment was sweltering and we had to open the doors and windows to cool it off. The first night there we woke up sweating.

Huge, clean and very well equipped apartment!

Great location in a quiet location. Apartment itself was clean, spacious and super well equipped especially the kitchen! Very suitable for a family to stay over a few nights especially those intending to cook a lot! Check in and out process was seamless as well. Great experience!

Great location, amazing room and balcony views were outstanding. Room was spotless and had a lovely bathroom and kitchen. Very comfy bed and friendly staff.

Had to take out our own bins, no housekeeping in room. No coffee pods left for coffee machine and had to pay for extra bin bags.

Fantastic location and overall great accommodation minus the heating issue

Great location and the property had most things you could need.

We have never stayed in a hotter room. All radiators were switched off but the room was absolutely boiling, which meant we had three very uncomfortable nights sleep. We discovered our room was above the laundry room so was likely coming from the dryer.

The space was very spacious for two people, and having a full kitchen was a huge bonus. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the location was perfect—close to everything while still feeling peaceful. The ski room was top notch and made storing and gearing up incredibly convenient. On top of that, the hosts were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay even better. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Fantastic views from the apartment and from the picture postcard village.

We were In room 102, woke up to amazing view of the top of the Matterhorn, changing colour from white to pink to orange. The location was great, 10-15 minutes walk to Zermatt station, the Gornergrat railway and the Matterhorn Glazier paradise valley station. Check in and check out could not be easier and the apartment was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean with all modern appliances. It was in a quiet location but only a few minutes walk from the town centre, the Matterhorn museum and shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay at Jolimont again if returning to Zermatt.

Nothing we did not like about the apartment but although Zermatt is car free you have to be wary of all the electric taxis and bikes when walking around. Plus the restaurants and shops can be expensive.

Perfect Family Stay in Zermatt with Stunning Matterhorn Views😍

We are now checking out. From Zermatt station it is an easy walk with luggage, and you can enjoy browsing the shops along the way. It was not difficult at all. We arrived later than the check-in time, but the host kindly guided us and the check-in was smooth. There is an elevator in the building, so no need to worry about carrying heavy bags upstairs. The facilities are very convenient and spotless. The view of the Matterhorn from the living room and the terrace is truly spectacular. Such a beautiful and comfortable apartment! Our whole family was extremely satisfied. We would love to come back during the ski season! There is no better place for a family to enjoy Zermatt and the Matterhorn together. Staying here made our trip even more pleasant and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Clean, cosy and peaceful place at good location to start hikes.

The location was excellent, with peaceful surroundings and a great view of the Matterhorn from our apartment on the 4th floor. Brigitte and Karin were very helpful and gave good advice on where to start hikes or buy things. There was no breakfast at Jolimont, but the kitchen of the room was well equipped, and good breakfast was available at 3 min walk in a nearby hotel.

The owners were very kind and helpful. The apartment we had on the ground floor was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was good for cooking when we didn’t want to go out. It’s a short walk from the main station but as two adults with daypacks and one cabin size suitcase, it was no problem walking to the apartment.

It would be a plus to have a box of tissues.

We can see the Matterhorn view from our balcony. The room is clean, nice and cozy. Location is good, around 10 minutes walk from the train station but not difficult to reach. Host prepared all the necessary equipment already.

A lovely place for a short break.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, modern and well equipped. For a studio it was spacious and the balcony gave us a wonderful view to the Matterhorn. The owners were friendly and it was easy to contact them as they were in the office every morning.. The location was fantastic, a quiet area but very central. The garden was nice to sit in.

Fantastic time in Zermatt

Fantastic location. Easy access to Gornergrat station, COOP, Sunnegga funicular station, Matterhorn glacier paradise station and Kirch bridge. Everything I need for cooking is here. Very kind and helpful owner. No doubt to choose this place next time and recommend to my friends.

Bad taxi driver charged CHF 31. Normally it needs around CHF 20. Need to be careful.

Exceptionally clean apartment with everything you need. Nicely situated in a quiet area but within a 15 minute walk to the train station. The host was also really helpful and kind.

The only down side was the bed which was a little hard for my liking, but that is preference.

The apartment was clean and appeared to be newly remodeled.

I reserved a studio unit with a small deck facing the town. Instead, our room was on the top floor/attic with limited views and no deck. While the unit was larger (2 bedrooms and a large upstairs lounge), we were only 2 people and didn't need the extra space. I would have preferred the smaller unit with the deck and view.

Unreal veiws, beautiful place to stay.

Everything about this property was fantastic. It was easy to find, in the perfect location with unreal views of the Matterhorn (we were room 303!) and it was easy to check in and the space we had was amazing. We will absolutely choose to stay here again!

Exceeded all expectations!

Good location, much larger than we were expecting, well heated, plenty of hot water, exceptionally comfortable bedding. My girlfriend also loved that the room has a hair dryer. Easy check-in/out. Great space for ski storage and luggage storage was available on check-out day so we were able to ski care-free. 10/10!

Enjoyed our Stay at this Fantastic Apt

We were at Jolimont for 4 nights. We were warmly greeted by our hosts. Very close to town for food, groceries, and all the gondolas. Our apt was roomy and had two balconies. Kitchen is well-equipped and everything for your comfort has been provided. You are greeted with a view of the Matterhorn with your morning coffee. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Wonderful family stay with very friendly & helpful host, Karin. Spotlessly clean accommodations with all the needed amenities, laundry on-site. It was amazingly clean!! Bring your toiletries, like shampoo, soaps and also coffee pods. Ski room super easy access next to entryway. Central location near cafes, restaurants, shopping and short 5 minute walk to electric buses. Matterhorn view from the apartment is absolutely spectacular. Fantastic choice for children with multiple bedrooms & baths and full kitchen on two levels.

We had a wonderful time in Zermatt, our favourite place to visit!

Property location is excellent, very near the bus stop to both Sunnegga and Matterhorn Express routes. It was also very easy to walk into the centre and access shops and rental. The apartment was very clean, had modern facilities and big comfortable beds. The bathroom, in particular was very spacious, modern with an excellent shower over bath. The kitchen was equipped for most things we required and the table area had enough space for us all to sit. If we return we would stay in the Jolimont again if we could secure on of the larger apartments. The property owners are very nice and also helpful.

There was no dressing table in one of the bedrooms and no mirrors in either room. An extra dresser with work top for storage would have been advantageous. The larger room had the best facilities, was spacious and light but it was compromised by being up a very steep stairs and under the combs. There was a very small sitting area in the same attic space but it was not big enough for the four of us to sit together comfortably. Check out was at 9am which we found early compared to most places we have stayed.
