I would recommend it.

Clean hotel in the city center, next to a mini market. Warm room without many amenities but quite spacious bathroom. On the plus side, parking in a public area under the hotel.The view of the restaurant was amazing.

There is not a direct access of the parking to the hotel. The breakfast was poor as there was no hot dishes (scrambled eggs i.e.) and there was the only option of black coffee even the restaurant was servings other coffees the rest of the day.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Kulm. Hiking in Malbun was especially beautiful.

The manager kindly upgraded our room to one with a gorgeous view of the valley and the snow covered mountains beyond in Switzerland. He also gave us a tourist pass which allowed us to travel on the local bus for free. Breakfast each day offered a delicious selection of yogurt, cereals, amazing bread, jams, cold cuts, cheeses and eggs. We enjoyed them with coffee, cappuccino or tea while overlooking the mountains and valley below.

Everything is Liechtenstein is quite a bit more expensive than in the US. The exchange rate for the US dollar makes that even worse.

I'm not sure these guys enjoy a hotelier's lifestyle

Single occupancy or no, I was surprised to find my double bed only made up to the halfway point, with one half left bare, except for a mattress protector.. Also, visitors to Hotel Kulm should be aware that overnight visitors to Liechtenstein are entitled to a state-approved "Freedom Pass" which gives them free bus travel throughout the country and reduced-price entry to all Liechtenstein's main attractions and sites of interest. This is an excellent innovation, I think, and Liechtenstein's tourist board is to be commended for it. I learned of all this by chance on my second day in Liechtenstein, after already having taken several buses and visited multiple attractions. I had not been informed of this upon check-in at Hotel Kulm, or given my pass, even though it is the job of hotels to issue this during check-in. The staff at the tourist information centre in Vaduz were shocked that I had not received it, as it should be automatic. After returning to the hotel that evening I raised the matter with the front desk staff. The woman on duty told me that it was my own fault I had not received the pass because I had not asked for it. I pointed out that as a first-time visitor to Liechtenstein I did not know such an arrangement existed. I added that a professionally run hotel would wish to inform their guests of such things. "We do not have your email address" she claimed. I pointed out that I gave my email address during the check-in procedure. "Yes, but our guests have very bad handwriting and we cannot read it." I asked her to take a look at my check-in form to confirm that my email address was perfectly legible. "Yes, this is clear," she said. "You have nice handwriting." I think she was expecting me to say "thank you". "But look at this", she said, pushing someone else's check-in sheet in front of me, in a surprising betrayal of her guests' confidentiality.

Nice Clean Hotel - Valley View Room is Worth Paying Extra For

We ordered a “Double Room with Valley View” for the “Extra Large Double Bed”. The room was cosy, clean and roomy. The shower was great. There are fantastic views of the valley and surrounding mountains from the balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, we arrived very late and they ensured that we could still get a booking at the restaurant. The hotel restaurant is also good for dinner whilst breakfast was OK. Parking is really convenient – right under the hotel with a lift up several levels right to the hotel entrance. The room is on the expensive side but seems a normal for Liechtenstein or Switzerland. The view from the balcony at sunset and again at sunrise probably made it worth it though.

Our double bed was two singles pushed together; this unfortunately left the wooden sides of the two beds leaving an uncomfortable ridge down the middle of our “double” bed.

Great panoramic view from room or restaurant worth the stay

The view was spectacular from the room and balcony. The room was spacious and had two work places for computers with two chairs, which one would think it would be standard for a double room but is not always the case. The restaurant was excellent as well and of course had even a better view because its "winter garden" extended out further over the side of the mountain. Triesenberg's museum and post office are right next to the hotel and the parking garage is beneath them. Very convenient.

Rest and relax on a weekend

Rooms were comfortable, in very good condition and clean. Felt like in a 4* View from balcony is wonderful, as well as from restaurant. Breakfast buffet is also good. Staff is attentive and helpful.

Wonderful view from our room to Vaduz and mountains, or to the upper side of clouds, also beautiful view from restaurant. Perfect to see sunrise and sunset. Very good breakfast.

Good location and Breakfast

We had three beds, but one bed did not have a pillow or blanket and I had to ask three times for it. The room was good but fully for a disabled person including the shower and water would just leak all over the floor. Other than theirs, the hotel is great, and the parking is free and right under the hotel.

Denise who works at the reception was so kind! We decided last minute to leave before breakfast because of a hike and when we texted her at 19.00 she offered to pack our breakfast for us so we would not need to wait until 07.30 for the breakfast to open in the next morning. We thought this was extra caring and appreciated her so much.

Excellent panorama view on mountains. Great location. Post office just down stairs- You can send postcard and even buy Swiss road vignette there. Perfect for travellers.
