Clean hotel in the city center, next to a mini market. Warm room without many amenities but quite spacious bathroom. On the plus side, parking in a public area under the hotel.The view of the restaurant was amazing.
There is not a direct access of the parking to the hotel. The breakfast was poor as there was no hot dishes (scrambled eggs i.e.) and there was the only option of black coffee even the restaurant was servings other coffees the rest of the day.

The view from the Breakfast area is amazing! The breakfast itself is ok.
The room is good, the bathroom a little bit outdated from my perspective. The towels were not so soft and nice.

Single occupancy or no, I was surprised to find my double bed only made up to the halfway point, with one half left bare, except for a mattress protector..
Also, visitors to Hotel Kulm should be aware that overnight visitors to Liechtenstein are entitled to a state-approved "Freedom Pass" which gives them free bus travel throughout the country and reduced-price entry to all Liechtenstein's main attractions and sites of interest. This is an excellent innovation, I think, and Liechtenstein's tourist board is to be commended for it.
I learned of all this by chance on my second day in Liechtenstein, after already having taken several buses and visited multiple attractions.
I had not been informed of this upon check-in at Hotel Kulm, or given my pass, even though it is the job of hotels to issue this during check-in. The staff at the tourist information centre in Vaduz were shocked that I had not received it, as it should be automatic.
After returning to the hotel that evening I raised the matter with the front desk staff. The woman on duty told me that it was my own fault I had not received the pass because I had not asked for it. I pointed out that as a first-time visitor to Liechtenstein I did not know such an arrangement existed. I added that a professionally run hotel would wish to inform their guests of such things.
"We do not have your email address" she claimed. I pointed out that I gave my email address during the check-in procedure. "Yes, but our guests have very bad handwriting and we cannot read it."
I asked her to take a look at my check-in form to confirm that my email address was perfectly legible. "Yes, this is clear," she said. "You have nice handwriting." I think she was expecting me to say "thank you".
"But look at this", she said, pushing someone else's check-in sheet in front of me, in a surprising betrayal of her guests' confidentiality.
