Great stay , great location

The location was convenient or inconvenient depending on where you needed to go, close to the Sambadrome. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of options and great fresh fruit and juices. Bonus: we were able to use the luggage storage room so we could enjoy the time between checkout and our flight without worrying about our luggage.

Air conditioning quite loud , blowing straight into the bed , we needed to turn it off to be able to sleep with the risk of being hot

Feels safe inside, staff friendly. Spacious rooms.

The shower was cold and wouldn’t heat up. Hairdryer did not work. Interior quite outdated. No bedside plugs. Not the nicest of areas.

I was happy with the staff and their service, and the facilities.

I had a lovely room with a very comfortable bed and a lovely view of the outside. The hotel provided a very nice buffet dinner. But there was nothing to do in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel staff did a good job of handling a lot of people queued at the front counter at 12.30 pm when I arrived and at 11.30am when I was leaving. There were 7 staff at the front counter at both times.

There were so many people for breakfast, I couldn't even get to the hot food; they were lined up three deep. I had to be happy with the food I could get to. The door staff got me a taxi to get to the international airport. I was grateful for their help. The taxi meter read 60r; I gave the taxi driver 100r but he argued with me and would not give me my luggage from the boot of the taxi until I gave him 200r. I don't know if the door staff have any control over what the taxis do.

I love this hotel.

I like the atmosphere in the entire hotel. The staff speaks very good spanish and english. I'd like to come again to Brasil and stay in the same hotel.

They need to improve the breakfast menu. I'd like to see more options to have a breakfast.

Great Stay within Walking Distance to Many Downtown Attractions

I requested a quiet location for our room. The hotel placed us in a great location down the end of a hall. Also, we were celebrating our 30 year wedding anniversary. The staff delivered an anniversary dessert and thoughtful note to our room. They also gave us little gift bags with lotion, etc. The free breakfast buffet was really good and the service from the dining room staff members was superb. We purchased the dinner buffet twice and felt it was a good selection for the price. It was very easy and inexpensive to use uber while staying at the hotel. Getting to other locations such as the beach was a breeze. Staying at this hotel for five nights was a good choice for us. There was always atleast one staff member at the front desk or in the dining area who spoke English, so that was helpful since we only speak a couple of words of Portugues. We highly recommend this hotel.

Centrally well located business hotel

I liked the location and English speaking staff members. Rooms were very spacious. The traffic noise disturbed only little. There were several elevators operating in all 22 floords + few to the roof. Meeting rooms functioned very well. Business Center was ok equipped and the staff very helpful

Perhaps more English speaking staff members The breakfast/lunch/dinner room needs to be updated. It looked and felt more like dormitory area for children. The food was little bit tasteless to my taste. The upper floor steam sauna, swimming pool area and bar was quite often closed. You could make more business to improve that area

Very good

The room was very big, the beds were very comfy. Staff was generally kind and proactive. There are many elevators in the hotel, so ups and downs are fast. The hotel is definitely very close to Sapucaí.

The only downside was the air conditioning that was not letting the room cold enough. But it was definetly not a big deal. Also, the food in the hotel is expensive.

It will do for a short stay.

Breakfast was superb! WiFi is acceptable.

Huge lines of people to check-in and out: it took ages to simply get a possibility to ask a question! Not enough staff or poor management? The neighborhood is full of homeless: stinky and not safe. Both nights I was woke up by strangers (a pizza guy who knocked the wrong door after midnight and a group of young guests partying at 3am). Looks like security and guests' peace are not priorities for the hotel.

The location was very central, in amongst good shopping, a market and quite a few bars and restaurants. For Rio the area felt safe

The room was shabby and dated, extremely long queues to check in and out and the reception staff were unhelpful.
