Spent several days here, and had a terrific time. The view from the porch is tremendous by day or night. A very steep driveway, of course, but easy to navigate and very close to town. Wonderful book with suggestions of things to do in the area, and both Paihia and Waitangi are easily accessible by ferry.

We have stayed at Villa 8 on a couple of occasions and always enjoy the property. Awesome views and plenty of space. Trish the property manager is excellent.

We stayed at this property for four nights while attending the Bay of Islands Walking Festival, and the location couldn't have been more perfect. All the walks started from the Russell Bowling Club, just a short distance away. The house was absolutely spotless, and Trish was an amazing host—so welcoming and attentive. We were three couples, and while the house was very comfortable, having only one bathroom with the toilet not separate was a bit challenging for us. Overall, it was a great stay, and we truly enjoyed the experience!

The property is amazing. The view is probably the best in the entirety of Russell!! My cousin and I stayed here while we were in town for a wedding. The property was beautiful. Perfectly manicured lawns, and grounds. And the view is priceless! The rooms were clean. The house was well maintained. Everything was perfect for a vacation. Trish was very very helpful with any questions we had. She was a pleasure to work with. We could not have asked for a better property. Thanks Trish!!!

We loved staying at this bach which was very clean and tidy...if a little rundown. The location is amazing and the views are spectacular. We would definitely stay here again. Linen and towels were great but the shower head and water pressure was...average at best. For a family it was a good layout.

This is the second time we have stayed at Villa 8, and we returned because we had such a good experience last year. We love the layout as it really suits our family, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The check in process is also super simple. The only thing that slightly lets the villa down is the bathroom and shower, which really needs modernising. However we were prepared for it this time, and the kids found it funny that it was still the same!

Excellent property! Fabulous views from the deck! Short 5min walk to town! Loads of room for 5 people! All amenities to have for a great family/group stay in terms of cooking facilities, Ware, serving dishes, etc! Plenty of eating room in living area and deck! Very good bbq. Parking for 2 cars with lots of space!
