Wellesley was wonderful

Appreciated the laundry, and comfortable beds, along with the well equipped apartment. Easy walk to shops and restaurants and not too far to walk to the city centre and Titanic if you break it up over the day.

The accommodation is no frills. To improve I would add some bottles of water because the water from the tap is gross. I know this is a Belfast issue not the hosts fault, but some bottled water would solve that. Shower gel & shampoo is not provided.

Very disappointing

The location was very central and we were able to drive to the places we needed or walk. There was a Tesco Xpress in walking distance as well as eateries/ restaurants. There was a large laundry room with a washer and separate dryer. The overall size of the apartment was good The beds were comfortable for everyone The carpet area was relatively new. We did not realise that the security deposit could not be added to a credit card (our error) as we have done elsewhere in the world- this was the only property to require one in our month of rentals in Ireland, so read the fine print very carefully. [We did not have a pay pal account ( gave this away years ago due to fraud) nor the other option which we had never heard of.] So we were pleased that the host waved the security deposit for us.

Loads of maintenance issues throughout the flat : 1. a couple of the kitchen chairs were in need of repair or replacement as they couldn't be used. 2. Bathrooms: the main bathroom was broken as the shower had come apart and it looked as if several DIY attempts had been made to fix it .This was noticed when we arrived which we immediately contacted the host about and we were told there was no way to fix this as they were travelling as was their maintenance person. We were reduced to one shower which was literally a closet shower created at the end of the hall way where possibly a closet once was. This was not acceptable for 4 adults. The cleaner must have known as it would have been impossible to clean that shower with the hose not connected to the shower head. 3. The power point in the main bedroom on the right of the bed was falling out of the wall so we did not try to use this as we regarded this as a serious safety issue. 4. The linens on the main bed were stained and the towels were basically serviceable, just. ( I washed all of the towels and dried them for us to use) 5. The apartment was not clean as we found the remains/ rubbish left by previous guests in the kitchen, main bedroom and laundry. (I did take photos of all of these issues for reference) The hairdryer could not be used in a power point near a mirror No tea towels/ no cleaning sponge or similar and very basic kitchen implements-dishwasher had items in it and needed to be run. wifi was very spotty. The hot water was not great for 4 adults showering one after the other as it was not consistently hot after the first person showered -these were always very short showers The host did say they had phone numbers on the information, which they did, but we had 2 phones with sim cards for Ireland (as well as 2 on global roaming)and we could not get the phone numbers provided to work on any phone even when we went to a phone shop. So our communication regarding the shower was via text in the app.

Spacious warm central accommodation

Spacious warm accommodation, centrally located. Close to the university and a short bus ride into the city. Two toilets and showers good for a bigger party. Generous supply of crockery, cook ware and basics to facilitate cooking. Host very responsive.

Fantastic hospitality and comfort from start to finish!

The apartment was the perfect base for exploring Belfast. It was really clean and spacious for a party of 6 and equipped with everything needed to make this feel like home from home. We were there to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday and had such a memorable time. A special shout out to the apartment owner, who could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Thank you Erla!

Relaxed easy city break for a family

The apartment was located on an old quiet street. It was very easy to get to and ideal for our family break. It was clean and tidy, well equipped and spacious for a family of 6. I think it has been said already the XBox was a nice touch, my boys were delighted. Host was lovely easily contacted and checked in to make sure everything was ok with us

Hosts were fantastic with great communication and very very helpful The bedrooms and beds were great, comfortable etc can’t fault The location was perfect Spotlessly clean and all in great condition. Super showering and toilet facilities along with tumble drier and washing machine. All the kitchen area and equipment was in great condition and plenty of mugs plates etc

The amenities were great! The view from the kitchen and area to hang out together. The beds were very comfortable. Lovely neighborhood and walkable. The laundry facilities were great!

Gem at Queens

Lovely apartment right at the heart of Queens. Had everything needed for a 4 night stay. Xbox was a handy touch especially for my 12 yr old. Beds very comfortable and handy having 2 shower and loos.

Only tiny tiny minute niggle...the hot water was hard to control in main shower, but there was another shower so not an issue.

Pleasant

The inside of the apartment was beautiful and we had everything that we needed.

The street was not very desirable and a bit of a shock as the bins were out along the avenue for our entire stay, there was a boarded up house at the end of the street. Seemed to be student accommodation. Parking was impossible so we needed to leave a hire car a street away.

Memorable stay in Belfast

The apartment is beautiful and spacious, with great facilities. Our host was very helpful and checking in and checking out went very smoothly. There are lots of restaurants and a Centra near by, which our host pointed out to us in a handy welcome guide. I would love to visit Belfast again and I would definitely try to stay in this house. The street was very quiet and there is a bus route into the city just a few minutes from the door. Thank you.

Would recommend this property for a family stay in Belfast.

Location was a convenient walk to pubs, restaurants and local supermarket. Kitchen and living area were as photo displayed and worked well.

Hot water system was a bit confusing - some days too hot, some days only warm. Parking in street was OK but it wasn't a busy time, so could be harder if all uni students were in residence.

A very good option for a large group who want to stay just out of central Belfast.

Very comfortable bedrooms with good storage facilities. Kitchen/living area is lovely and light with plenty of sitting space for 6. Good facilities (washer/dryer/showers). It’s obviously in a student area but the street was quiet (Easter hols). Able to walk into the Waterfront Hall & plenty of small shops for eating/shopping nearby.
