Our stay at Metochi Gavdos was truly unforgettable. Stefanos, Eftychia, and Maria are outstanding hosts who made us feel at home from the very first moment. Their hospitality embodies the Greek concept of philotimo—a unique blend of kindness, generosity, dignity, and genuine care for others that simply cannot be translated into English. Their discreet and respectful approach, combined with their willingness to help at any moment, made all the difference. The food was exceptional—delicious, homemade, and prepared with the warmth and love of a family kitchen. Every detail contributed to a unique and memorable experience. I would highly recommend Metochi Gavdos to anyone visiting the island, and I will definitely be returning.

Lovely memories of our days on this unique island. The place is quiet and welcoming. The room had everything one needs for a comfortable stay. We also loved hanging out at the restaurant,at all hours. Beautiful view and great food! Maria went far and beyond to make our stay pleasant, always with positive energy and a big smile!
