Excellent stay

I was welcomed on arrival, despite checking in late at night. Fantastic breakfast every day, friendly owner, simple but clean room. Fantastic sea views from the breakfast table. Such a relaxing place to stay, and an easy walk into the centre of Plakias. I would love to return.

Unforgettable stay, total relax and beautiful cats!

We left our heart in this beautiful apartment, with amazing sea views, great atmosphere, and most of all a bunch of adorable cats who entertained us and made our stay even more memorable. We spent 4 nights but I wish we could have stayed longer...walking distance from the amazing beach, the apartment had everything we needed and was very spacious. I really hope we will be able to come back here, I already miss it.

Very modest place with a great view.

The view was amazing, location, perfectly dark for sleep because of the curtains!

Just small things missing like shower gel, wine glasses, tea bags would be nice. We were also lucky our neighbors were not loud , cause you can here everything.

The View

The apartment had a lovely balcony with spectacular sea and mountain views. The layout was excellent and the room felt spacious.We loved the king bed and the bath tub. There was plenty of hot water available. The owner helped us carry the luggage and had the cutest sidekick :). The cats were adorable, too. I think Finikas was excellent value for money and we would stay again any time. Plakias was a quiet and relaxing resort and it’s a good choice if you don’t like too hot a weather as there was a seabreeze that cools off nicely.

The hotplate took forever to warm up so we gave up the idea of cooking our meals. It would be a great idea to equip the rooms with microwave ovens. Othet than that, the amenities were quite adequate.

Clean spacious room with a beautiful sea view

The host was very friendly and it was nice of him to upgrade our accommodation to a more spacious room with the kitchen.

Unfortunately, when we stayed in Plakias, it was extremely windy and it was challenging to sleep at night due to the wind-induced noise at the walls and on the roof. The wind also caused some disturbances in the Wi-Fi connection.

Amazing View

The room had an amazing view of the sea and the beautiful horizon! Also, the apartment was really spacious, clean with super comfortable bed. Cute puppies and kittens playing around the garden. Pets are welcome even though we didn't have one, but it is really nice to have this opportunity. Owners were really friendly. We totally recommend this and we will definitely come back here again!

Taverna style stay

Lovely host and lovely place. Quiet since away from the bars and restaurants but still less than 5 minutes to the beach.

The rooms are a bit outdated but clean and works still well.

nice and uncomplicated place to stay close to the beach with sea view at a good price

The location is very nice, it takes you like 5-7 mins walk to the beach and you are up on a little hill thus one has a great view over the landscape and the ocean; Also the owner of the place, Costas, is a very fun and approachable guy, he's very welcoming. Thank you a lot, if I go to this area again, I'll come back! My room was rather big and the shower was hot , also the wifi was good for making work calls; so all I needed was there:)

The view is amazing and very close to the village for shopping, restaurants and everything you need. 15 min by car to Preveli Beach as well. The owner was very friendly and chatty and there are two lovely dogs and cats going around. Super cute. Bed is comfortable. There is an air dryer.

There are not actual kitchen facilities (I will read again the description, maybe I have missed something giving for granted that an "apartments" allow you to cook). There is just a water boiler and plates and cutlery. So I think it's perfect if you want to eat something cold or take away or going out for dinner. One note: it was veeeeery windy when we went and the door was slightly opening and closing all night producing an annoying noize. Maybe it was windier than usual but I suggest them to put different doors because it really can change the quality of the sleep.

Wonderful stay at Plakias

Spacious and clean apartment, big bathroom and a beautiful sea view! The owner was very kind and offered us a bigger apartment than the one we had booked. The location is just perfect being close to Plakias center but still in a quite position. We absolutely loved the two cats which would always welcome us on our return in the evening. Definitely recommended.

Excellent quality price ratio. Amazing views from the hotel, clean and tidy. Close to the center and the beach but better to go there by car. It's also very close to the best beaches in the area. The owner Kostas is friendly, helpful and warm, he will treat you as family and help you whatever you need. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy going, we will never forget our nights in the garden having fun with Kostas and other guests. Thank you Kostas for making our stay in plakias so good!!!

Everything was great, location, hygiene and amenities. We were also upgraded to a better room even as we had paid for the basic one. Great move! But the highlight of our visit was Kostis, the proprietor, manager, cook and.....dj of the place! Kostis, thank you for everything and we hope to come again soon!

Schönes Studio mit prächtigem Meerblick

Grosszügiges Studio mit herrlichem Blick auf die Bucht von Plakias. Die Küche ist zweckmässig eingerichtet, so dass man sich gut Mahlzeiten zubereiten kann. Sehr freundliche Besitzer, Vater und Sohn, die auf die Wünsche der Gäste eingehen. Ich würde jederzeit sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Decisamente da migliorare...

Ampia la camera anche se la spacciano per un appartamento o monolocale come hanno scritto nella prenotazione in realtà è una camera grande con un frigo grosso e qualche utensile da cucina (senza cucina). Spazio esterno ampio con due sdraio per stendere biancheria e prendere sole.

Innanzi tutto non è un monolocale quello che ci hanno dato ma una camera grande con frigorifero, niente cucina, lavello e piano cottura. Purtroppo abbiamo avuto sfortuna e ci hanno dato una camera al piano terra con ingresso da fuori, probabilmente la struttura ha anche camere migliori di questa. non sono piaciute tante cose: la camera non è insonorizzata come scrivono, la porta infatti è in legno mezza rotta e non chiude perfettamente, in bagno no shampoo o bagnoschiuma solo sapone mani, dal bagno esce costantemente odore di fogna che costringe a tenerlo sempre chiuso, parcheggio scomodo per numero di auto che non si riescono a posizionare bene nel piccolo parcheggio all'ingresso. La nota più dolente è stata la colazione, avevamo scelto sulla base delle recensioni di una colazione spettacolare e invece abbiamo dovuto pregare che qualcuno venisse a prepararci qualcosa dopo aver aspettato quasi 45 minuti non vedendo nessuno abbiamo dovuto telefonare per fare arrivare qualcuno. La colazione alla fine è risultata di scarsa qualità e con pochissima scelta di prodotti, non avevano neanche il cappuccino o espresso ma solo caffè americano, miele e yogurt dal discount, buona la torta (una sola scelta) e la spremuta, un po' di uva recuperata all'ultimo minuto...niente di più. C'è molto da migliorare anche sull'accoglienza da parte del personale.

geweldig verblijf op prachtige locatie

De locatie was prachtig, de eigenaar heel vriendelijk en er liepen 3 hele lieve katten die graag wilde knuffelen.

De stang in de douche was kapot waardoor je de douchekop niet kon ophangen.

Appartement idéal

- L'appartement est super, dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin + balcon avec vue sur mer. - Accès facile et parking privé. - À 5' à pied de la plage. - Le personnel est super aimable, ambiance familiale.

- Il manquait une grande serviette (ce que l'hôte nous a fait remarquer mais n'en a cependant pas ramené une deuxième). - Le petit déjeuner se fait attendre... Supposé commencer à 9h, on a commencé à nous le servir petit à petit à partir de 9h30.

Wie ein Aufenthalt bei Freunden

Wir waren nur eine Nacht hier aber haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist wie ein Aufenthalt bei Freunden. Wie auf den Fotos zu sehen, handelt es sich hierbei jetzt nicht um ein Luxus Hotel. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, es gibt leider keinen Pool und der Weg zum Strand ist kurz aber auch recht steil teilweise. ABER dafür ist der Hotelbetreiber wahnsinnig aufmerksam, es ist sehr günstig, super sauber und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Es gibt auch eine kleine Bar/Restaurant wo man sich immer ein frisch gezapftes Bier holen kann und auch was zu Essen bekommt. Es ist wirklich einfach sehr entspannt und wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt.
