Wonderful Stay

Spacious apartment with small fitted kitchen, sofa bed, dining area. Lovely bathroom. Great private balcony and an excellent pool and loungers. Lovely decor. Beds were very comfortable. In an excellent location where you have tranquility but close enough to all tavernas and bars. We will most definitely return.

Exceptional

The appartments are clean, comfortable, well equipped and very cozy. The pool is nice like on the pictures, but not very deep, so it s more for relaxing than swimming, but the sea is really wonderful at Plakias and the surrounding beaches. If you have breakfast you have to go to the hotel, about 10 minutes to walk or you go by car, if you don t want to walk. Breakfast was really tasty. I can recommend this accomodation; if you have a car it s perfect to come around everywhere.

We arrived at night and didn t know how to start electricity, so we had no air condition during the first night.

Fantastic location, really enjoyed ourselves

Location was great, just far enough from the town centre but within walking distance of some great tavernas. Beach is great.

Bathroom light and hall light on the same switch so bathroom visits during the night were intrusive for other people. Shower head had no support bracket.

Nice, but bothersome

The rooms and balcony

The room had no numbering, so it was extremely hard to find which room to go to. Very weird experience, I was very tired when i arrived to the hotel and was searching for my room for another 30min, basically trying the key to all doors until I could the one door that the key could open. Very weird and unpleasant experience indeed. Also the apartments have no reception, so i had to drive to another address to get the key to my apartment.

Nice apartment but comms could be better

The apartment is spacious and the gardens and pool are nice. In easy walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Parking spaces available. Good bakery around the corner. Quiet location, cleaned daily. Enough kitchen supplies to cook. Do note the house is situated on a (moderate) hill - lovely views but could be a bit of a strenuous climb up for people in lesser physical condition.

Communications were poor. The key needs to be picked up at a hotel in town a 10 minute walk away. In spite of contacting them twice we never got a reply of where this hotel was or the reception opening hours. Was not hard to figure out via Google maps but if we would not have read other reviews we would not even have known the reception is remote. Also several of the things in the facilities description are actually not there. Most notably the kids play area outside is gone and there is no washing machine. Washing could be done at the hotel, but they charge 5 euros per wash and this took far longer than previously agreed, again without notification. Many other things are also not as described, eg our 4 bed bedroom only had 3 beds plus one in the living room and no sitting area (as was described). Bathroom was a bit tired; shower could not be hung on the wall and needs to be hand held. The double bed was new, the other 2 beds were ok but rather tired. Be aware the pictures you see with the rooms on booking are taken in several different apartments so not representative. I would book again but would have appreciated a more honest representation & better comms

Passable

it was very quiet with friendly staff, there were parking spaces, good location if you are with a car.

The bed is the most uncomfortable we ever slept of. The bathtub could not hold the water. The air conditioner can not cool enough. The button on the toilet cistern was broken.

Quality accommodation with nice views etc at a very affordable price.

Modern apartment with all kitchen utensils etc including an oven as well as hob. Quiet area, away from traffic but close enough to supermarkets, bus stops, beach, walks......About 15 minutes walk to all of these. No need for a car. We had meals at sister hotel, Anthos Beach hotel just 15 mins walk away where the food was very varied, buffet and suited us.....All part of a value for money half board deal. Staff cheerful, extra helpful and courteous. A lovely place generally to stay and enjoy scenery, walks, beach etc.

We did not realise key and check in was at Anthos Beach hotel on arrival. This should be in booking.com information. Electric switch was also not on when we arrived so we had to find switch on the wall behind door, although we had put key fob in correctly as you go inside.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Anthos

Der Blick auf das Meer, die Großzügigkeit der Wohnung, dass täglich gereinigt wurde, es zentral und doch ruhig gelegen war. Gute leise Klimaanlage. Der Parkplatz war vor dem Haus, es gab einen gepflegten Pool. Die Möglichkeit im Partnerhotel Mahlzeiten einzunehmen. Die Freundlichkeit und Flexibilität des gesamten Personals. Mir hat es sehr gut im Anthos gefallen und ich würde auch wieder hier buchen!!! Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Man hat die Durchfahrtsstraße gehört. Das fehlende Fenster im Schlafbereich, aber daran gewöhnt man sich.

Passez votre route, il y a mieux

L'appartement était propre. Literie correcte.

A notre arrivée il y a eu un souci avec notre appartement qui était pris par une autre famille. Ça été compliqué d'avoir quelqu'un en ligne. Une fois le problème résolu et que nous avons récupéré notre appartement qu'elle déception. L'intérieur est vieillot. - Cuisine : pas de quoi mettre la vaisselle à égoutter, pas de grille-pain. Le strict minimum! - Salle de bain - toilette : lorsqu'on tire la chasse d'eau y a des odeurs pas très agréable qui remontent, la baignoire grosse tâche de rouille, le rideau bizarre comme installation !! - chambre : ok dans l'ensemble. Une lampe de chevet qui ne fonctionne pas, la clim fait le job et la télé que des chaînes Grecque. Dommage qu'il n'y ait aucune note dans l'appartement avec les éléments essentiels à connaître, faire fonctionner la clim, la télé ect. Aucune attention non plus contrairement à d'autres locations. Si vous arrivez tard le soir il peut être compliqué de trouver une place. La piscine : elle a été un critère important dans le choix de notre location et nous avons été très déçus. Elle n'a pas dû être nettoyée depuis quelque temps. Eau sale (cf photo), espace douche très sale. C'est vraiment dommage nous avions loué en nous basant sur les photos qui malheureusement n'ont rien a voir avec la réalité. C'est bien dommage!!!

La chambre est spacieuse , la Piscine est top 👍🏼

Nous n’étions pas prévenu que le Check in / Check out se faisait dans un autre hôtel dans le centre. Ça aurait été appréciable d’avoir un message de l’hôtel en amont car sur place , la dame de service ne parle pas anglais. Hébergement a une bonne dizaine de minutes à pieds du centre .

Prima appartement, maar weinig sfeervol (de omgeving compenseert!)

De badplaats Plakias is een mooie combinatie van reuring, gemak met winkeltjes en gezellige restaurants én rust (geen massatourisme). Het strand van Plakias is erg goed. De accomodatie was eenvoudig, klein qua oppervlakte, maar oké voor een paar dagen. Het uitzicht (zie foto) was prachtig tijdens het ondergaan van de zon. Het zwembad is klein qua formaat, maar erg mooi en wordt goed onderhouden.

Niet heel belangrijk, maar toch onhandig: de waterkoker in ons huisje schakelde niet automatisch uit. Daar moest je dus naast blijven staan als je thee maakte. Er was geen broodrooster en de keramische plaat was niet prettig om mee te werken. Tip aan de eigenaren: schaf kwalitatief iets betere keukenspullen aan en voeg een broodrooster toe. De sfeer in het interieur was kil; felle lampen, geen mooie/warme spullen om de sfeer aangenaam te maken. Een paar sfeerlampen (of gewoon minder felle peertjes in de lampen draaien) kunnen wonderen doen ;-).

Dårlig uteplass, fasiliteter i oppholdsrom var enkel og bad gammelt. Dusj i badekar, dusjforheng og manglende oppheng til dusjen. Tv var en bitteliten skjerm på vegg i soverommet. Overpris i forhold til kvalitet.

Super séjour !

A notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillie par une employée française qui terminait son service et qui s'est proprosée de nous accompagner jusqu'à notre appartement, car oui le check-in ne se fait pas au même endroit que le lieu de l'appartement. L'emplacement super, vous pouvez facilement vous rendre à pieds dans le centre. Il y a beaucoup de restaurants ! Nous avions une grande chambre avec un salon et le balcon donc au top. C'est une ville calme, n'y allez pas si vous voulez sortir en boite de nuit !

Il serait préférable d'indiquer que l'adresse fournie sur booking est l'adresse d'un autre hôtel qui appartient au même propriétaire, où il faut récupérer les clés pour ensuite vous rendre aux appartements situés à 5min en voiture.

Heerlijk ontspannen vakantie

Het appartement is mooi hoger gelegen zodat je mooi uitzicht hebt over Plakias, de bergen en de zee. Het appartement zelf is niet luxe maar ruim voldoende voor een vakantie waarbij je meest buiten bent. De bedden liggen heerlijk

Het waait elke dag best hard maar daar kan niemand iets aan doen. Je kan je wc papier dus niet door de wc spoelen. Dat moet in de prullenbak. Dat is voor ons Nederlanders echt even wennen.

Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Anthos Appartments gehört zum Allianthos Beach Hotel, dass zentral in Plakias liegt. Dort checkt man fürs Anthos ein und dort gibt es auch Frühstückbüffet und Abendessen- falls man dieses dazu gebucht hat. Zu Fuss sind es ca 900m zum Allianthos; Hinweg bergab; Rückweg bergauf. Nun zu meiner Bewertung: Das gesamte Personal vom Allianthos Hotel einschliesslich der Dame, die die Zimmer reinigt, sind sehr freundlich und es war eine sehr angenehme Athmosphäre im Hotel und im Appartement. Unser Zimmer und alle anderen Bereiche waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Tolle Aussicht auf Plakias und das Meer! Schwimmbad nicht besonders tief aber man konnte trotzdem gut schwimmen. Sehr ruhige Gegend- nur manchmal schrie ein Esel- was mir persönlich gefiel. Bett für zwei Personen ausreichend gross- sehr weiche Matratze. Ich persönlich bevorzuge härtere Matratzen; habe trotzdem gut geschlafen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im ersten Stock- Meerblick. Ab Nachmittag bis zum Abend hat man hier volle Sonneneinstrahlung auf dem Balkon. Hat uns nicht gestört da wir eh nur am Morgen und ab Abend den Balkon nutzten. Die Schiebetür des Balkons hatte eine ebenso verschiebbare Mückenschutztür. Wir hatten Frühstück dazugebucht. Absolut zu empfehlen!! Bei unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in Plakias werden wir sicher wieder Anthos buchen!

Parfait

Le logement était très bien, pas grand chise à redire. Nous n’avons pas testé là piscine parce que nous sommes venues en Mars mais avec un peu plus de soleil, elle semble top ! Très bien situé avec une très belle vue ! Le petit dejeuner est EXCEPTIONNEL (voire trop exceptionnel, je recommande à 100%)

5 schöne Tage

Lage, Blick und Ambiente sind sehr schön. Das Personal ist sehr liebenswürdig und stets hilfsbereit. Für jedes Anliegen wird eine Lösung gesucht. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber, täglich wird gereinigt. Ein kleiner Pool und ein gepflegter Garten runden das Wohlfühlen ab. Urlaub von Anfang an.

Eine herrliche Woche im wunderschönen Plakias :)

Strand in Laufnähe, Supermarkt, Tavernen, Bäckerei in Laufnähe, ein Swimming Pool, herrlicher Blick auf Plakias und die Bucht (von unserem Apartment im ersten Stock), täglicher Zimmerservice, Vollausstattung inkl. AC/Heizung, Obst und Blumen zur Begrüßung, was will man mehr. Das Apartment ist geräumig genug und hat einen schönen Balkon. Parken direkt auf dem Grundstück, das schön bepflanzt und sehr gepflegt ist. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder :)

Es gibt nur Kleinigkeiten, die man verbessern könnte. Z.B. geht der Strom aus, wenn man das Zimmer verläßt, so daß man keinen Akku währenddessen laden kann. Auch wäre eine kleine Leuchte im Wohnzimmer schön, wo es nur eine ungemütliche Deckenleuchte gibt. Die Stühle in der gesamten Anlage könnte man mit geräuschhemmenden Filzen unter den Beinen versehen. Im Bad nervt etwas, daß immer der Ventilator läuft, auch wenn man sich nur die Haare kämmen will. Nachts weckt man damit ggf. den Partner auf ... Aber wie gesagt, das sind Petitessen :)
