Beautiful garden and painted ceilings in the bedroom and exceptional breakfast

Nothing, it was perfect

Everything. It was beautiful, comfortable, and just a wonderful place to spend time and unwind. The garden was beautiful and I would highly recommend that you let them cook dinner for you. Breakfast was always a treat, and conversing with the ladies who owned the B&B was a great way to connect to the place (especially when they showed you their collection of Suzanis).

This might be my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the gorgeous garden to the amazing location to the welcoming owners, everything was pretty perfect. And you’re right around the corner from the Amir Temur Mausoleum and walking distance (~10min) from many other sights. I have celiac disease and they could not have been more accommodating. The breakfasts are genuinely fit for a queen: an assortment of delicious homemade jams (rose, peach, strawberry), eggs, fruit, pastries. It’s worth having dinner here too, everything is made with such care. But be sure to come HUNGRY, it is ample food. Make sure to check out their fabulous collection of local suzanis. Loved seeing how they had lovingly restored the ceilings and local architecture in their family home. Will remember our stay forever, it was so special. Thank you!

- overpriced - 3 weeks in Uzbekistan and Antica guesthouse was at the same time both our most expensive and the least quality of accommodation out of everywhere we stayed - mattress needs replacing - on the first night we could feel the springs and it was lumpy. When we told them they put several layers of padding underneath to try and make it more comfortable- see photo - we chose Antica because of the garden but the seats and loungers were not positioned to be in the shade for much of the day which meant we couldn’t sit outside as it was too hot - Generally needs modernising and updating. - Decor shabby and “tired”
