Don’t be put off by the entrance being on a small side street, it’s a residential street and a very short distance to the entrance to Amir Timur mausoleum.

Lovely courtyard and Eastern European-inspired breakfast which felt quite nostalgic to me. The staff were keen to support when needed.
The fact that we couldn't pay for the room with card was a bit strange. From the pictures it looked like it was possible to have a drink on the rooftop but I'm not sure this was actually possible. The hotel could do with a bit of a revamp in certain areas, to have more of a modern feel.

Perfect location to visit Samarkand. Very nice courtyard, shaded and cool, perfect for breakfast or relaxing. Abundant and varied breakfast. Helpful staff.
Repeated problems with the shower drain, despite it being promptly repaired each time Overpriced.

The staff is always friendly and smiling! Breakfast is good and made-to-order!
the value for money isn't convincing. The rooms are a bit dated, and they only accept cash payments (I really don't get this). All in all, the property is nice, but we expected something better.
