A great spot to stay to enjoy the lovely city of Trieste

Location was terrific. Dusan our host was super helpful and informative. Breakfast was great. It is a well serviced and cared for accommodation. There is a lift!

Being there for five days it would have been good to have a guest sitting area, or in the room.

The room is close to the center of Trieste and you can have a beautiful walk in that direction. The room was big and clean. The breakfast was good and the host extremely friendly. He loves Trieste and his job. He can talk all day about his beautiful city.

Great place in city center

The location was amazing right by the train/bus station and the city center but very quiet. The size of the bed was good and the mattress was comfortable. If there was a mini fridge in the room then this place would have been almost perfect.

The sink in the bathroom was a bit awkward and the shower could have used some touch ups but overall everything was great.

Enjoyable stay in Trieste!

For this time during our trip to Italy we targeted to book the rooms closer to train stations. That’s why Affittacamere Iris was a great choice in terms of location. It was extremely clean and was in safe neighbourhood(Trieste overall is very safe and beautiful city). The host is always open to help newcomers to enjoy the city. You will also see it in the guides and notes laid all over the corridors. Overall, the say was very well worth it.

Great location, comfy bed, wonderful host.

Great location. Easy walk from train station and 10 walk to the main square. The host communicated well and gave me very detailed directions on accessing my room. The host personally provided breakfast every morning with a very warm and welcoming touch. You can tell he was very passionate about proving a great experience for his guests. The room was clean. The bed was very comfy. The AC was great. The bathroom and shower were large with easy access and hot water. Great overall stay.

The room was a bit small, not much space to move around in, therefore I recommend this place to solo travelers. It had what it needed to include a small desk and night stand, and a stand up curio in which to hang my clothing. The hallway had an overwhelming bad fruity smell. I appreciate the host trying to provide a nice smell for guests upon entering, but this was not a pleasant smell. Recommend using a spray with a more neutral or clean/refreshing smell.

Great 5-days stay

Nice host explaining everything we needed, very good location - quiet but just a few minutes away from the train and bus stations - also within 8-10 minutes walk to the center of everything, the room is nicely cleaned, the bed is comfy, A/C worked great. Tghe breakfast was simple but good.

WiFi was pretty much unusable during the entire 5-days stay.

Great location to discover the city!

The location is excellent, you can reach all intersting points and sights on foot. As it is located in a side road it is quiet at night anyway. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Small and familiar location in the first floor of an old building.

Perfect if you are looking for a nice and very clean place to stay which is close to the station.

The instructions for self check in were very well explained and super easy to follow. The entire premises was exceptionally clean, making the stay very enjoyable at a very reasonable price.

While the room was a bit tight, this did not bother us that much since we only had a small backpack each.

Nice room in a great location with a very friendly owner and delicious breakfast

Perfectly located near the train station and close to the old town in the tenement house with a beautiful facade. Very friendly owner who offered us a breakfast for free and a number of insights into the local life as well as helpful tips. Rooms are very well equipped, spacious enough and very clean. The owner made sure by WhatsApp that we received all codes to enter the property, which was nice. Would gladly book this room again.

The shower could be a bit enlarged and the curtain replaced with a glass- difficult not to make the bathroom wet will taking a shower.

Lovely accommodation next to the train station

Great location just outside the station and walking distance to all facilities in Trieste. Room was comfortable. A powerful shower with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was fresh and we'll stocked.

Nothing wrong with the accommodation. We did had an issue with 1st member of staff we encountered who was clearly disinterested in dealing with us which didn't help our initial impression. All other staff were extremely friendly and professional so perhaps we encountered her on an off day. But she has cost the venue a rating of 10.
