Large room with comfy chairs and a TV.
Breakfast was very nice but again the dining room was cold.
Bed was not too comfortable. I think we were the only people in the hotel. It was cold and they only just put the heating on when we arrived. There was a smell of smoke in the corridor outside the bedroom.
Shower didn't work properly.

I chose the hotel for the location as it was close to where i needed to be for the Ironman Triathlon. Breakfast was good, room was lovely and they even made me a pack lunch for the Sunday.
nothing.

Quiet location. Car parking.
Sour milk on first morning and could not find anyone to get it changed. Staff appear on time with food but otherwise disappear! Needs a bell or something to alert someone if there is a problem. Similarly on arrival - looked deserted. Misleading information regarding food which is not available in the pub at all and there is no Thai Restaurant as shown on the map.

In a nice location with an attractive facade
We found the beds uncomfortable, mattresses too hard and springy. Other than this the rest was fine.

Good full English breakfast with cereal and yoghurt. Decent sized bedroom for price. Very helpful and friendly owners. Good location to explore Weymouth with Castle Cove and the greenline into town only minutes away, as well as a local bus to town or Portland
We were in Weymouth during a heatwave and there was no air flow or fan so we had a very hot couple of nights. Not to be helped as we do live in England so not a usual situation

The hotel and garden looked lovely the minute we stepped through the door. Really friendly hosts. Great room and good night's sleep, in a quiet, handy, location. Half an hour's coastal walk, or pretty Rodwell trail, into Weymouth. Regular bus route 5 mins. walk from hotel.
Full English breakfast was delicious, which you order the evening before.
We are hoping for a return visit.
We don't have any negatives.

Breakfast was personally cooked rather than a buffet- so much nicer.
Opening windows - much preferred to aircon
Mugs not cups in bedroom

Very clean plenty of foc parking
The twin beds have seen better days. The shower room would benefit from towel hooks and a shelf in the shower to put your shampoo etc on.

Lovely quite pub lovely location close to beach and a 25-30 min walk from Weymouth harbour and town/seafront
My mirror was too small on the wall, and the small mirror on the side was not enough to dry my hair, so I had to use the hallway, which was only a minor inconvenience and didn’t spoil our stay at all

Very clean and well decorated room. The cooked breakfast is absolutely superb, they even do fried bread! Although located a little way from the town centre, there is a lovely walk into Weymouth along a tree lined former railway line. We would certainly stop here again if visiting Weymouth. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, so you are not disturbed by traffic or any other noise. There is also a lovely secluded beach just two minutes walk from the hotel.
We would have preferred a firmer mattress, but that is just personal preference.

Excellant breakfast with a wide choice of cereals, fruits and cooked breakfast options.

The location was perfect. We could park outside the property for free and it was just a short into Weymouth. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked fresh for our time slot.
If I am being critical about anything, maybe the TV in the room could have been a bit bigger, but we didnt use it much anyway as we were out exploring Weymouth and Portland during our stay.

Friendly host to welcome us and show us how things worked. Handy location. Breakfast was good (but more than one yogurt choice would have helped me).
Steep stairs to climb with luggage, Very cold bathroom with a shower raised on a fairly high platform. Bed hard

Our hostess was very attentive and looked after us well . Our room was superb , and the decor in the hotel was top notch . The heating was put on for us after the first night was chilly . Our breakfast was freshly cooked each morning , and nothing was too much trouble.
The Rodwell Path is worth exploring nearby (A former railway track bed ) which goes towards Portland , or the town , and was our first outing after our arrival . We were not able to explore Dorchester as the outskirts had heavy traffic, as we were there during the second week after Easter and it was wet 3 days out of the 4 . However , the Tolpuddle Martyrs Museum was well worth a visit , as was Kingston Lacy (NT) if you like art works in a country house .
On the wash basin was a small hot water heater which didn't function well with only a dribble coming out . I pointed this out during our stay , but it wasn't rectified during that time . The shower only delivered cold water having been run for 5-10 minutes which was also disappointing , but other than these issues our stay was a good one .

Excellent location just off the Rodwell Trail linking Weymouth and Portland. Number 1 bus runs from the top of the road. Very welcoming hotel, part has been refurbished and there are further plans being made. Watch out for the turret room which will be amazing when completed! Room basic ,but comfortable. Breakfast has a good choice and served at the time you specify. The price was very reasonable, making my 2 night stay good value
The bar appeared to close early, so no night-cap. Restaurant not due to open until June

Well located between Weymouth centre and some lovely hidden beaches. Old railwaytrack close to the hotel makes a short walk to Weymouth harbour. Upon arrival the beergaden was in full swing. Great (personal) breakfast. Also comes with a pub.

Plenty to choose from for the breakfast, you selection the time, what you wanted, a selection of drinks including decaff coffee was good. If you wanted to change any thing you had to let them know by 8pm the day before. One of the best systems I've used, no computers just a simply form.
The off street parking was a little small, but after talking to the owners I understand why, the pillows on the beds were a bit soft but that's the same where ever we go. Didn't let this bother us as we usually take our own pillows.

Nice en-suite rooms in quiet area with own entrance. It's also possible to use pub entrance and have a pint. Newly refurbished rooms and own parking on backyard. Very friendly staff. For sailors this is just 6-7 min by car from WPNSA. Full English breakfast but also cereals, juice and coffee available. Very good value for money.
