Birgu Studio Maisonette

The location, how clean it was and also the comfort of the bed.

For one person it’s great, I think it’s a little small for two.

Petite salle d’eau.

The location was very convenient, and the lady who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. Those were definitely the best things about the accommodation

Unfortunately, the accommodation was extremely small and uncomfortable. As soon as you open the door, you are basically standing in the kitchen, and the staircase leading down to the bedroom is extremely narrow. The bedroom is located in the basement, with a very low ceiling, which makes the space feel even more cramped. The bedroom is also very noisy. There is a window/ventilation opening facing the area where people walk by, so you can constantly hear people outside, even when the window is closed. You can also hear the refrigerator and its motor running from the bedroom, as well as other noises from the kitchen. There is a small additional room at the back, but because of the low ceiling, it is hardly usable and doesn't really add any practical space. The TV is also placed very high up, making it rather impractical to use from the bedroom. Another thing to be aware of is that the air-conditioning unit is not completely free to use, you need to pay with coins for it. Overall, the accommodation was far too cramped and noisy for ne to feel comfortable, especially considering that the bedroom is in the basement. The location and the friendly welcome were good, but unfortunately the accommodation itself did not meet my expectations
