Harbour Mansion

Beautifully re-designed old space with Maltese tiles everywhere and nice bathrooms and hall. The location is fantastic seeing parts of Valletta and Kalkara as you open the door. The apartment is tucked in a corner that gives it shade from the brutal Malta summer heat. Kitchen well-equipped and nice design with a spacious island.

The bedroom at the back of the apartment is very humid due to its location. There was also a bit of an insect problem with ants and flying ants upon arrival but it was manageable.

Great location. Interesting old building with high ceilings and atrium in the middle. Well equipped kitchen including appliances and utensils, Efficient wet rooms.

There were no windows as such and nowhere to sit outside. Atrium didn’t work as somewhere to sit and when it rained, the dripping made loud drops which woke us up. Presumably not a problem for the majority of the year

The location was spectacular. Some people might prefer to be nearer to the main buzz on Valetta or Sliema but we adored being in such a stunning setting in the old town of Birgu. It was so beautiful, so quaint, so full of character & still had loads of gorgeous restaurants & cafes & loads of atmosphere & tranquil buzz. It's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. We loved it & already cannot wait to return!

There was no natural light really into the apartment. Not a big deal but if you were staying for longer than 3 or 4 days it might be.
