The location in Birgu was perfect. Birgu as opposed to Valletta is very quiet which we loved, lost of cafes close by and very easy to navigate our way around this gorgeous area. The views from the upper balcony were superb, especially at sunset. We were there at the height of a very hot summer so the air conditioning and fans in every room was appreciated - as was access to WIFI. Our host was extremely amenable
The actual property is very quirky, but it was a little hard going up and down stairs for us as we are an older couple - wasn't too bad for the rest of the family. Also having to utilise the sofa as a sofa bed was a little inconvenient, but we managed (we were a family of 5)

Super leuke locatie op het charmante Birgu. Ook het huis zelf heeft veel authentieke charme. Het is niet breed maar wel heel hoog in 4 verdiepingen + terras. De vele trappen moet je er dus wel bijnemen. Het terras heeft een prachtig uitzicht over Birgu en Valletta. De kamers zijn voorzien van airconditioning en de bedden zijn prima. Ryan is een fijne host die goed bereikbaar was en veel informatie gaf over het huis en wat te doen in Malta.
Er is weinig ruimte om je bagage te leggen.

It was an absolutely fantastic location and Ryan provided us with lots of information for our visit and any questions we had. Beds were comfortable and great air conditioning in the bedrooms!
There were quite a few stairs and I have an ankle injury but the stairs meant that we had a fantastic rooftop area to use and relax in. Two areas actually and there was a good washing line to hang out our washing. It was also on a wonderfully quiet street

Lage war sehr gut und interessant in einem alten Stadthaus, mit tollem Blick von der Dachterrasse, zu wohnen.
Vieles war kaputt. Und im Bad steht das Wasser am Boden, es kommt unter dem Laminat raus. Es muss dringend repariert werden, da das ganze Haus dadurch sehr muffig riecht.
Es war nicht gemütlich.
