Modern apt Kalkara seafront!

My husband and I stayed in this lovely apartment in Kalkara for eight nights. The apartment was just perfect, overlooking the beautiful marina with a nice balcony to sit outside on to enjoy the view & activities in and around the marina. The welcome bottle of wine and croissants were most appreciated upon arrival. Communication with host Christian was excellent right from the time of booking and throughout our stay, contacting us on the day of our arrival to make sure we had checked in ok and that all was well. The apartment itself was spacious and light. Bedrooms were a good size, and it was a bonus to have two showers and toilets. The apartment was well equipped with soaps, washing powder, tea, coffee, condiments etc. Kalkara was the perfect area to stay in, close to Birgu and Senglea but just far enough away to avoid all the tourists. It was a very pleasant 15 minute walk around the marina to Birgu. Just follow the marina all the way round and you will come across the three arches, and you have reached Birgu. Before you get to Birgu you will also pass the roped-off swimming area in the marina which we enjoyed a swim at most days. When you reach Birgu it’s only another 8–10-minute stroll to catch the ferry to Valletta. If you don’t feel like walking, then the number 3 bus at the stop along from the apartment near the church takes you all the way to Valletta. Also, great local restaurants to eat at which are cheaper than in Birgu and Senglea. Highly recommend staying here.
