It was a beautiful and peaceful place. Everything we needed away from the crowds with the most amazing roof terrace and views across the water to Valletta. We were totally relaxed there. Such a special place Thank you so much

It is a beautiful property, handled by a very kind host, Maria. Birgu is for those who want to be away from super touristy places in Valetta! It also has a beautiful terrace.

The property is amazing, just could be a bit cheaper. Hotel rates are also similar. I still chose it because I had a conference venue nearby.

Located near center of town.

Too many stairs. The worn condition of the furniture . TV not working, probably batteries. Could not control upstairs air conditioner. We had difficulty breathing which might be due to mold. We had to wait in the rain for an hour to get in. Thought we were being met.Internet didn’t work. Couldn’t call text, email, what’s app to get the code to enter. We finally found a kind shopkeeper who let us use his phone to call the host. Host would still not give us entry code until we walked back to get the reservation #.and call again. Host said that the code was sent by email which we didn’t receive until the day before we left..All of which could have been avoided since we chatted in detail the day before on What’s App.
