La Lucia Sands Beach Resort

The location was excellent. Cleanliness exceptional. The pool area is outstanding and beach access was great.

The lady at reception was on the condescending side. Its only one particular lady . The spa is not part of the resort but we were refused the contact details for the mobile spa. The fact that you have to pay additional to use the air-conditioning is an issue. I booked a garden room but was given one on the second floor which was noisy throughout the day as the laundry room operates near by. The water in the main shower did not drain easily. The apartment is for six people but the lounge only has couches to accommodate 4 people. There were 2 coffee pods, limited sugar and no milk even though we booked for three people. There should be a double bed in the second bedroom.

Location, facilities (pool, sauna) and access to private beach, close to restaurants. Braai stands everywhere and kids entertainment area, that was great.

#The neighbors/owners are very rigid and petty( We got complains every 2 seconds, this includes moving of furniture- we recommend place try using felt floor protectors to mitigate any noise as it's impossible to not move furniture especially if you are on top floor) Also people are on holiday to rest why are you getting security knocking at 7am in the morning and you are accused of making noise, while you still sleeping. Uncalled Anxiety - this place just became very uncomfortable and stressful opposite of what you were buying( Peace and quiet) Beds are uncomfortable with substandard duvert. Your rules are way too strict-it felt like a boarding house instead of a holiday-e.g. we must keep place clean( or you lose your deposit), soaking your linen if it has been stained before you give it to house keepers, bins to be out before 8am daily or the bell will disturb my sleep- this was extreme guys. Your wifi never works- meaning entertainment is limited ( even TV always buffering) Checkout Checklist is way too teditious - first time I have experienced such a lengthy process of each item being counted - including sheets, coushins and matresss protectors. Expresso machines no manual - also for a 6 sleeper only had two pods???
