K-Guesthouse Dongdaemun

You get what you pay for. For this price, you cannot expect much luxury, but at the same time, this place has everything needed for those solo travelers who come to the guesthouse in the evening just to sleep. The bed and the pillow were comfy, the AC worked well. The room, albeit small, had sufficient space for my carry on and a big duffel bag. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Contrarily to what I read in other reviews, the shower water didn’t leak to my room (but I did have to be careful 😌). Even though my room was situated close to the reception, I was not disturbed by the noise. The neighbors were either respectfully quiet or absent. I liked that there’s a water dispenser available 24/7. The location is great - close to different means of transportation, convenience stores and, most importantly, the airport bus is right across the street.

My favorite part of my stay was the staff. The gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally friendly, humble, and helpful. As a tourist, he made me feel very comfortable and welcomed from the moment I arrived. He provided useful guidance on nearby restaurants, bus stops, and local transportation, which made getting around Seoul much easier. His hospitality truly enhanced my experience. I highly recommend K-Guesthouse Dongdaemun to travelers looking for a convenient and welcoming place to stay.

Nothing significant. The overall experience met my expectations, and the staff were excellent.

The owner of the hotel was very sweet and welcoming. He gave us great city tips so we stayed safe. Also, he was very generous with towels.

The room was very small and the aircon didn't work. Also, the shower was very tight.
