They gave us the wrong password. But unfortunately, their staffs were already off after 6pm. So we messaged them, emailed them and called agoda to get their staffs. Though they stated they had replied us within 5minutes after reaching out to them but in fact, it took us 30mins to solve this issue. They first asked us to try the old passwords which we did and then gave us the new one to try out after all the hassle. But one thing I appreciated was that they try to offer us a new room if nothing worked out at the end. Also, since we couldn’t use our SIM card to make phone calls, the neighbour actually walked past our room and helped us to contact agoda. So shout out to the neighbour! Since we didn’t message them right away after opening the door successfully on the first night, perhaps they thought we went to the second room they offered us(?) So one of their staff came to check our room the next morning without ringing the bell or knocking the door. It really scared all of us at first. Though we understand they might have to check the room but would appreciate if they first knock the door in case someone’s in there or dressing up. But he did apologise and quickly closed the door so it was a relief. But all in all, it would be better if they check their passwords before giving it to their guests! The design of the room was nice but sadly, not sure if they regularly changed the beddings. They were very dusty, with hairs and stinks (they do look like blood stinks to us as it’s a bit dark red and brown). It wasn’t a very pleasant experience. But the toilet was fine and the hairdryer was exceptional. Location wise, it’s pretty good and convenient!

Best place to stay

If you can keep the room clean, there is no problem. But if you’re use to room cleaning and service, not for you. I’m older, I don’t mind but the kids might not like it. It’s a preference. You take out the trash, buy the trash bags, buy all tissues if extra needed, wash your towels, clean the floors and any mess you make. No front desk, message and wait for a reply.

First, it’s important to clarify that this is not a hotel—it operates more like an Airbnb. Since it’s listed on Agoda, it’s easy to assume you’ll receive hotel-style service, but that’s not the case. There is no traditional front desk, check-in assistance, or on-site support, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. Pros: The unit generally matches what is shown in the listing, and the space itself is decent for a short stay. It comes with useful amenities such as a fully working kitchen, a washing machine, clothes dryer, a large refrigerator, and a big TV, which make the stay more comfortable and convenient. The location is also good for getting around. Cons: Communication can be challenging, as everything is handled through Agoda chat, which isn’t always responsive or efficient. There are also no service personnel available in the building during weekends, which makes it difficult to get help when needed. During our stay, we found that there was no option to request cleaning services or even borrow basic cleaning materials. Simple requests like changing towels or refilling toiletries were also not accommodated. For a short stay, this might be manageable—but we stayed for 10 days, and the lack of support became frustrating. If you’re particular about cleanliness, this setup may not be ideal. The biggest concern, however, was the “scheduled sanitation.” We were informed that cleaners would enter the room at a set time—even if we declined. This raises serious concerns about privacy and security, especially for longer stays. Overall, it may work for a quick trip, but for anything beyond a few days, you may want to consider other options with more reliable service and clearer boundaries.
