HOTEL LETS POP

They are so excellent, everything is so well prepared, the coffee space and the lucky room are so cool! Definitely would book again.

I stayed at the place for over 5 nights during my business trips around the areas. It was perfectly fine even I didn't see any staff yet 😅. The system has set very well since checking in to out. I love the bathroom. Even, it looks small but it has been designed fuctionally well and dry so quick. Overall my stay was great, except the cleaning team was overlook to clean my room one night on the fourth night as it had been booked since the checked in date. Anyway, I would come and stay here again for my,next visit.

Tucked away in an ordinary building with an office-like facade, the hotel occupies floors 5, 6 and 9, 10. Hotel Lets Pop and Hotel Lets Above are sister hotels housed in the same building that sits by the side of Cheonggyecheon stream. The rooms overlook the stream and guests can enjoy the view of Cheonggyecheon illuminated by the street lights at night and by the sun in the day. The full-length windows offer such a beautiful expanse of the flowing stream that you will be thanking yourself for booking such a wonderful accommodation. Freshly refurbished, the hotel, though lacking manned reception and requires self-check in with a machine, provides clean and bright rooms that are inviting and funky. On top of the pop-art style interior design for the rooms, the extent of amenities provided is also impressive: complimentary self-serve washer & dryer, complimentary instant coffee packets, bottled water and other beverages, and biscuits. You'd just need to be mindful that you will have to help yourself to these as there's no traditional room service. The only 2 drawbacks I've found are: 1. Lack of floor mats to keep areas dry after shower 2. Lack of segregation between wet & dry areas of the shower/ toilet. I've enjoyed my stay here and I might try out Hotel Lets Above should I ever return for Seoul 2.0.

Pros- location is great, can get just about anywhere in Seoul from the location. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms, small but compact. Cons- The bed is the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in, we had to ask for extra blankets to place under the sheet because it was that bad. Have never felt pain in my back from a bed before. They need to upgrade the mattresses asap! The building is an office building with a few floors for hotel, resulting in the thinnest walls, we were woken up multiple times by loud guests at 2-4am, bring good ear plugs. We requested a late checkout for 1pm and the hotel staff came knocking at 11AM as well as messaging to check out, if you offer late checkout option, stick to the timing, feeling rushed to get ready when you advised we could check out was a bad experience.
