We loved staying here! The host Roger truly takes the experience to the next level! He makes you feel at home. It is peaceful and a lovely estate that has walking trials and the most beautiful views when you drive further up in the estate. It is a walking distance to Drakensberg Sun and a short drive to Champagne Sports Resort. There is tar road all the way to the accommodation. Roger also helps you with suggestions of places to go if you are unsure of what to do.

Beautiful location and breakfast was absolutely perfect. Freshly prepared and wholesome.
Our room was at the back of the property. Being winter, and not receiving any sunlight there, it was cold. Having said that there was a heater and an electric blanket which helped a bit.

Roger is a great host, always available and ever willing to help. The breakfast was lovely, prepared and served with great care and great conversations. There is areat collection of books and games that kept us entertained. There are electric blankets which made the cold night bearable.
There was no microwave in the unit, and we had no access to the kitchen microwave- we could not warm up food. The next unit bathroom door connects to the bedroom and we could hear the other tenants. Outdoor lighting is insufficient (can't sit by the front potch or enjoy the beautiful garden after 6pm).
