Would not come back again .

Staff was very polite even offered me a breakfast on the house .

Definitely an issue with the cleanliness, room was filthy not properly cleaned the walls were also dirty with a lot of questionable stains on them . Also they have a mice problem , I could hear the mice in the walls rattling and scratching the walls .

An interesting experience.

It overlooks the Place de la Gare. It is near the centre. There are bars all around. The guys helped get my motorbike safely off the street and secure. Good guys. Very helpful.

It overlooks the Place de la Gare therefore is noisy at night and from early morning. The trains start early.

Although at check-in the guy spoke virtually no English, we managed somehow, understanding a little bit of Dutch. The hotel is located conveniently right next to the train station and very close to the city centre.

Pleasant stay

The property location is excellent. It is located right next to Aalst train and bus station. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This hotel is not fancy in any way but the room was perfect for my purpose; clean and comfortable. Shower was good.

Its an awesome location right next to the Aalst station - very convenient Nice little kebab shop 'next door' although it seems like it might almost be part of the hotel Very low-key hotel for an overnight stop on a work trip Its fairly cheap

The wifi in the room was aweful and took a few goes by the staff to even get me connected. I missed the first half hour of a really important online meeting because the wifi kept dropping out and I had to move down to the lobby to reconnect. There was a heap of train noise - my room was literally next to the train tracks.

Catastrophy

Absolute mess. Dirty, Rodents, extreme cigarette door, disgusting smudge on the walls. Holes in the door. I don’t want to remember that moment for the rest of my life.

Hotel is ok for the money, i would come back for 1 night

The beds were good Considering you pay 5 euro for breakfast, not too bad. ( bread was dry though) Nice staff If i needed to stay at aalst for 1 night i would book tbis hotel again

Toilet seat and wastebin broken. Mainly clean, but edges and corners dirty At breakfast the waiter had an argument with a guest, can t say who was right, i guess if guests think there is free beer in a 5 euro breakfast they are not realistic. But it was disturbing.to eat and listen to this. The waiter was really friendly to us. Bread at breakfast was dry ( old?)

We enjoyed it as it was next to the station. The breakfast was basic but good enough. The bar was open when we arrived.

That the Breakfast on Sunday is only till 10am. It should be till 11am.

I really did not like the service and environment of this hotel 1. I booked a room with breakfast, but the breakfast was very bad. 2. the room was very cold and uncomfortable, there was no dirty cleaning. 3. It was written that there is a parking lot, but there is no parking lot, so I parked my car in another place and walked. If you have received money from a person, you should provide appropriate service.

Good but don’t expect too much

Cozy bed, gratis breakfast. Good location in the center. The elevator is super useful and super retro. The staff were kind but had language problems.

It’s not so clean, the door made a noise that probably woke up everybody on the floor. They had left the window open so when I arrived at the hotel, it was freezing cold in the room. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom. Getting in the location with ringing a bell and waiting in front of the front door to be opened by staff is not convenient. The staff continuously were asking who I am and till when I am staying.

The staff was very nice and tried to help (changing the room, sewing a torn button, ...), the price of the accommodation was very reasonable

Nice hotel

Nice hotel, in front of the train station that takes you to Brussels in 25min. Alost is a great city to go and the hotel is 10min by walking to the center (and the park is a must seen!). I've had the room 207, it's very small but you have everything you need for a few days.

It's not very quiet because of the train and bus stations.. Maybe the price is a little too much for what it is.

Seemed had no details of the booking. Could not supply a double room as booked. Disputed number of guests on the booking. Booked for two people, turned up with two people, venue prepared for only one.

Excellent stay!

The property is ideally located a couple of minutes from the train / bus station and a few minutes walk from the Main Street with shopping, cafes etc. Staff sorted check-in swiftly. The front desk is available at all times. The value for money is exceptional, so is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels across Europe but the accommodating nature of the staff here is something you don’t come across very often unless booking a high end hotel - I am so grateful to them. The room was clean, spacious and exceeded expectations, really positive experience. There was a fridge in my room. Pleased there was breakfast. If you want a convenient place to stay which is good value, and where staff do their utmost to help, then I would highly recommend this hotel. It is however not a 5 star hotel (and they’re not marketing themselves as such), if you want a 5 star hotel you will need to book somewhere else and pay for such service. However, this hotel gets full marks and 5 stars from me and my purposes.

Good

Room was of a good size and the beds were very comfortable. Considering its location to the station and the bus stops there was no noise at night. The staff were very helpful in showing us how to locate the bus we needed and in buying the ticket from the kiosk. Location is great and the town of Aalst has plenty of places to eat, shops and a large market on Sunday.

We couldn't get the TV to work - seemed to be asking for a card - but really wasn't a problem and disn't affect our overall stay.
