Wonderful staff, nicely renovated historical building, modern and comfortable rooms. We loved our stay.

Very welcoming, responsive and helpful staff. They genuinely seem to care about their guests and their experience of their guests. We enjoyed the warm and cosy family suite - perfect. Beautiful lounge area downstairs where we enjoyed conversation over a glass of wine on a rainy afternoon.

Comfortable, clean and conveniently located hotel for a stay in Aalst.

We arrived fairly late at night and received excellent instructions on how to access the hotel and our room. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

There was no milk / creamer offered with the in room tea / coffee.

Perfect stay in Aalst

The hotel is beautiful with a calm feel, ideally located close to restaurants and shops. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, making your stay as pleasant as possible. Very comfortable and spacious rooms offering a great stay for families and their pets. The breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of excellent, fresh and tasty products. The hotel is easy to reach and has plenty of parking nearby. We are always considering this lovely place as a stop when we travel through Belgium.

Great staff, especially the mosquitos

Good location,

The staff were very friendly, especially the mosquitos. I left with over 30 bites, which made sleeping difficult. They really need to put in fly screens or have some form of control. I could also tell by the blood splatters on the ceilings that I wasn't the only person to have gone mosquito hunting during their stay.

There wasn't any air conditioning in the rooms which given 27-30 degree days, made it quite challenging to sleep.

The location of the hotel is nice and the room was adequate.

There was no air-conditioning in the room and the windows did not open. The hotel supplied a fan which was completely inadequate. I could not sleep. When I went to the front desk the next day, I was told that there was nothing to be done, and that I could not be refunded by the hotel because the booking went through booking.com. To date, I have had zero luck with either booking.com or the hotel getting a refund for any of the nights I did not stay.

Breakfast very comprehensive, not just the cold buffet, there was hot food too. Nothing was too much trouble.
