Tranquility at its best what a place to chill and unwind from the stress of life

The old convent was really beautiful so quiet and peaceful but is approximately 12 km from Spoleto in a remote mountainous location taxis are difficult to to get and are expensive each trip to and from the premises cost approximately 100 euro per trip The restaurant on site was amazing and food delicious , the views from the premises cost approximately were incredible and the sunsets spectacular, we are there to walk a few sections of the St Francis Camino and the accommodation was just off the route which was a bonus

Beautiful location, kind staff, comfortable room

The location was incredible and the view from our room and the balcony at night, with the sunset, was breathtaking. The room was very comfortable with air-conditioning and a nice bed. We had a glass of wine on the terrace with the sunset on the recommendation of the staff and it was one of the nicest glasses of red wine I had in Umbria - which is saying a lot! The staff at the check in desk were also very lovely and helpful.

The cost of the spa and the restaurant were a little high for paying guests so we didn't partake and instead went to eat elsewhere.

Memorable

Great experience staying in the converted nunnery - lots of reminders of its history. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and breakfast was also good. The hotel is very well furnished and the staff were very helpful.

The room was small…but that’s because it’s a nun’s cell!

Location was superb. Rooms cleanned. We enjoyed the staying here.

The atmosphere of monastery was great as well as nice view from accomodation. Close for the mountain trip as well as to see the history part of Italy.

Magical, reviving, joyful, - you should book here!

The view from here is incredible - it is mind blowingly beautiful. The food was excellent. It’s an awesome historic building, with a fresco from the 1300s However after three weeks of a hotel after hotel across Spain and Italy was how utterly fabulous, welcoming, kind, skilled and friendly the staff were. Staying here was a delight, and our souls were renewed.

It’s an historic building, so the bathrooms were a bit pokey, and the beds weren’t that great - but with the view, the food, the location, the people, the buildings, that was inconsequential.

Peace and tranquility in the green hills.

If you are looking for a place to get away from it all this is perfect. It is quiet and simple and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

We stayed during a very hot period. Only the bedroom had air conditioning. It would have been so much more comfortable if there was air conditioning in all the rooms.

Wonderful

Everything. The wonderful settings, the clean and bright room, the nice restaurant and very kind staff. There is also a beautiful old castel right up on the hill.

Insects might come underneath the door.

- Very nice location and view from the terrace; - Good breakfast and diner (optional); - Very calm and relaxing

- Not all rooms are air conditioned (we were there during a heatwave), we were however provided with a fan upon request; - Since the relais is located in a former monastery, the rooms are quite plain.

- swimming pool would make it even more perfect. - with the perfect view during dinner, the menu was maybe a little to standard. A little more exclusive menu and presentation would make it an even more unforgettable experience (but that’s just my opinion)

Amazing historic location and view. Incredibly comfortable apartment (the bed is especially phenomenal.) kind, accommodating staff. Can’t wait to go back!

Buona la colazione ed anche la cena con prezzi che rispettano la qualità dei prodotti. Abbiamo usufruito della Spa al Monastero, un bel momento penserei ad inserire qualcosina in più nel pacchetto. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto godere della vista dato il clima piovoso ma torneremo.

Consiglierei di cambiare gli asciugacapelli delle stanze all'interno del Monastero, sono vecchi e molto lenti.

Le SPA (COME LE CHIAMANO LORO) sia quella del castello che del monastero non sono assolutamente di livello. Senza contare che la troppa quantità di cloro dava fastidio agli occhi.
